15/11/2019 08:20 | For me this question about whether management knew the oil was heavy, sulforous, acidic etc while touting it as potentially transformational is important. It raises questions of trust. If we can't trust management to be straight up on this issue, one has to ask whether there are other things that we will learn in due course that undermine the share price I assume the brokers have similar information to us (perhaps more detail). In which case their views may be based upon managements trustworthiness as are ours. I really do think that is important. Also if the Carapa well news is due in December, that could be significant wrt to share price It could have us back up to and beyond 200 or could give a shock to the downside. Could be a lot profit to be made here or a lot of pain to be suffered. I could imagine a recovery towards the Carapa news, but then it becomes a gamble. | stupmy
15/11/2019 08:13 | If this is a good entry point, expect to see some Director buys | cbr60000
15/11/2019 08:04 | Six brokers have come out since the trading update & not one single sell recommendation. In fact they are all buy/overweight with a mean average of well over 200p..cant see them all being wrong!! | 0rient
15/11/2019 07:48 | 'leee I am with you re acquisition PMO is an example I would give. | deans
15/11/2019 07:34 | A few more legs down and the enormous debt burden will come to the fore again... any pullback in oil could see a death spiral here.. too high risk at the moment for not much upside... | pjj71
15/11/2019 06:34 | OnJohn, please give us a rationale for your comment price will go below 100p. I've looked at your posting history and it's largely the same kind of post, almost never a rationale. Please explain. | stupmy

14/11/2019 21:39 | When are results from Carapa due? | g2theary
14/11/2019 21:19 | I think the talk of HEAVY is the distraction and deflection and misdirection going on. The issue is QUALITY. This is SULFUR CONTENT, METAL CONTENT, ACIDITY. Good quality heavy oil is commercial. Bad quality heavy oil is not commercial. Bad quality extra heavy treacle certainly is not commercial. | pro_s2009
14/11/2019 21:13 | Surely it's quite easy to tell it's heavy oil once it has cooled down? | matt
14/11/2019 20:52 | Wont take long to get back to 200. | sbb1x
14/11/2019 19:35 | xxnjr - The worst was the claim that Jethro could be a standalone development?! Seriosuly, how sloppy do you have to be to make such a comment and walk back as a sizable E&P. Phillis - Takes one to know one?! Educate yourself...Just about every E&P made an acquisition, even with a debt that was twice their market cap. | rationaleee
14/11/2019 19:07 | needs to go under 100p to be interested | onjohn
14/11/2019 17:25 | If they knew it was bad oil and used it to push the share price is that not illegal? | mx5richard
14/11/2019 17:17 | It stinks if it's true that they will have known it was heavy oil in Guyana when they first announced the two finds! | matt
