Al...I do think the substantial gas find announced today which does not have the SPT baggage attached to it might be a game changer for TXP.

Not sure about TXP as they have also suffered due to their Trinidadian post code but certainly #JSE has proved to be a far superior investment to TRIN and have delivered what they said they would. Growth and dividends. Good luck with your investments MT. I'm still invested here and waiting for our day in the sun.

Yes indeed. Nothing to be sad about with TXP and JSE confirming MT's stellar research. Words like muppet being addressed towards a stand out investor does nothing to enhance their own standing in the eyes of open minded neutral observers.

Archie61 - 'As i've said previously nocents, he's a very bitter and sad individual, he went in large @25p just before the 15p placing. And that's after his expert research(along with his professional investor friends) - he's a muppet'

I've been called many things but can't recall 'muppet' ever being one of them!

For the record, as posted on here at the time, sold 75% of my holding at my average price of circa 16.5p after adding modestly in the low 20's and told the thread I had put the proceeds to work in Jadestone Energy in late summer 2018 - the other 25% went the same route early this year.

Today, that investment is worth 34.4p a share in TRIN shares.

Had a closer look at Galeota project and it does seem to be rather special:

1. The wells will be drilled BETWEEN the previous exploration well and the existing wells.....very, very low risk.
2. The anticipated flow rate over the first five years is 7000bpd with 4500bpd to TRIN
3. The cost of the platform to Trin is c. $90m or $11 pb over the first five years.
NB: this is corner shop economics as nowhere in the industry would you write off the cost of a platform like this over only FIVE years.
4. if we add $4 over the 7000 bpd per year the consortium would have over $10m per year for cost of maintaining the platform and costs (this seems high to me but what do I know?)
5. The rig will be state of the art , unmanned and very low cost
6. Even if I increase the G&A figure from $5m to $6.5m the increased production drops $2 off the total cost of production pb. ie breakeven drops a substantial $2
7. before undertaking this project I expect a more favourable tax regime to be negotiated (if only for this specific project)

It looks to me that this project could produce oil at a total cost of $15 pb and certainly south of $20

With 7500 bpd as their medium target this suggest an onshore figure of 3000bpd (I expect them to sell on their west coast production)

Make of this what you will.

Oili. It was a generalistic comment. A lot of people were up for buying. At least you did.But it is really none of my business who does what anyway.
Buy when it’s low.
Anyway....Trin is all set up and on the starting blocks...

Unfortunately my measly top ups are unlikely to move TRIN on their own. I'm done for now I'll buy more if TRIN release some news or we see an increase in volume or the share price drops below 8.5p. Other than that I'm happy to hold

Getting close, latest pricing I have is that we are receiving Brent -6% so we should be pretty much at $60 now. So in contrast to some of the spam on this board T&T oil seems very much in demand.

Wwick, closed period maybe

But any purchases would light the fuse further towards the re-rate, especially be nice to see Jeremy dip his toe in

HAW update once upto 140 bopd would also light the fuse

SPELLBROOK do you think there is a reason why Bruce and Jeremy CANNOT (not permitted to) buy shares?

Mark your post regarding Galeota and commercial terms is a good one. If the government want Galeota to produce tax receipts they will make it happen. How many times have we heard TRIN are working closely with Heritage and the government.

Good point No cents the only problem is I would need a crystal ball to know where the bottom is. So I generally like to spread my top ups. I topped in the 11s , 10s and now 9s. It's good to wait for a bounce because the way things were looking yesterday I thought we might even say the 8s. Now that we have a bounce on decent volume it's a good sign !

Well. Best to buy whilst low.
Shame people didn’t buy at lowest sentiment (9.18p) yesterday. Best time to buy solid well-researched is when others don’t see it. Yes I did buy 29k at 9.18p ( all I had) but I wish people would not wait for others and see the value for themselves regardless of what others do. Not referring to you Oili....just investors generally who wait for others to buy. Best time to buy is at or near the perceived bottom. Good stocks only.
Btw I still get it wrong and buy too early so I’m not holier than thou.

No Cents Report received thanks! It's pretty upbeat in tone. Will fully read and digest later.TRIN certainly seems to be due a bounce. Tempted to top up tomorrow or Monday with 20,000 or 30,000. Better to throw in small/ medium sized top ups I think
