14/11/2019 21:07 | Mark your post regarding Galeota and commercial terms is a good one. If the government want Galeota to produce tax receipts they will make it happen. How many times have we heard TRIN are working closely with Heritage and the government. | wwick
14/11/2019 19:51 | Good point No cents the only problem is I would need a crystal ball to know where the bottom is. So I generally like to spread my top ups. I topped in the 11s , 10s and now 9s. It's good to wait for a bounce because the way things were looking yesterday I thought we might even say the 8s. Now that we have a bounce on decent volume it's a good sign ! | oilinvestoral
14/11/2019 19:25 | The big buyers did well today | spellbrook
14/11/2019 19:15 | Well. Best to buy whilst low. Shame people didn’t buy at lowest sentiment (9.18p) yesterday. Best time to buy solid well-researched is when others don’t see it. Yes I did buy 29k at 9.18p ( all I had) but I wish people would not wait for others and see the value for themselves regardless of what others do. Not referring to you Oili....just investors generally who wait for others to buy. Best time to buy is at or near the perceived bottom. Good stocks only. Btw I still get it wrong and buy too early so I’m not holier than thou. | nocents
14/11/2019 19:00 | No Cents Report received thanks! It's pretty upbeat in tone. Will fully read and digest later.TRIN certainly seems to be due a bounce. Tempted to top up tomorrow or Monday with 20,000 or 30,000. Better to throw in small/ medium sized top ups I think | oilinvestoral

14/11/2019 17:19 | “extra knowledge that we don’t have” | nocents
14/11/2019 17:13 | I don’t thing Tgal ( Galeota) would be being so carefully planned without some extra knowldge than we have. Atm it does not seem viable imo. But knowing Trin they have a cunning plan mid-longer term. I have seen too many rabbits and hats...some good ..some bad. | nocents
14/11/2019 16:28 | We need a bit of luck TRINs way, oil above $60 will really help, throw in some progress on the ground in TRIN. Also something I picked up in the latest September interim presentation is the ability for the government to modify leases to make Galeota commercially viable. Currently with the fiscal regime I would personally moth ball Galeota, but the Company seems to be accelerating their work on it. So with the ability for the government to amend leases means that it could be viable at the stroke of a pen, throw in the proximity of Repsol to Galeota and we may have a partner sooner than anticipated. | mark10101
14/11/2019 16:07 | Good to see WTI at highest in over a month too so should be getting comfortably north of $60 per barrel at the moment | otemple3

14/11/2019 12:56 | Well I've made my connecting train but now two hours until my destination so I'll engage. The figures I used included:-1 a ten percent reduction in the average oil price received by TRIN over the last 18 months.2 an aggressive depletion rate of 20%3 a 10% reduction in bpd of new well . Even the disputed drilling costs were at the top end of those given by the company in their presentations. What I set out to do is show that drilling capex could be very close to paying for itself in not much more than year.A few ifs and buts but the underlying economic case is very strong . | pavey ark
14/11/2019 12:49 | Trin will be fine. I am not a numbers man. I am a global “ take whole pocture inc. numbers into account “ man. I have degrees ( 3 of them stupid me being wasted academic) in economics+ politics + 2 foreign languages and post grad Psychology + psychotherapy + macro economics. I am also a passionate current affairs advocate hence my always mentioning geopolitics. I still find numbers ok but not my passion. I’ll leave it to you all. Look at NEX people. Nice buy. Other buys on LSE. Mark is right about stability. I like to look at whole picture and am particularly interested in shale Permian focus/ failire of Bakken/Middle East tensions /media obfuscations etc. These are easily missed by over-focus on just numbers. Numbers are important of course!! It’s business. Those with tunnel vision do not see it because of the tunnel vision. Any walk of life. I particularly warm to Marvelman’s posts as he recognizes such truths. Equally important is civility . And assertiveness when that is not shown. On chatboards as in life. Oilinvestor......if you can somehow contact me then I can send you the report as I did to Mark. | nocents
14/11/2019 11:58 | Either way it seems some people are seeing value here. With so many oilers letting investors down on timings, big ticket all or nothing wells accompanied by burgeoning debt, people might be starting to appreciate TRIN’s methodology. | mark10101 |
