I was shocked by the July $11.3m tweet CENKOS put out and has been a concern for me, much much more comfortable with closing at $16.6M and hit an exit of 3400bopd!

Crossed over but that was exactly how I determined it was £

Mark, just looked back and it is significantly up on the July note but slightly down from the Sept note which stated £13.9m. Have to say currency is not clear in the table but does look to be £ not $ to me

Excellent, I am presuming the cash is stated in £ as it is how they calculate their 37p share price. That is great to see.

Otemple3, I could not see their year end cash on the CENKOS report, are you sure? At $16.6m (£13.02m) is over $5m more than they were saying in July. That is a material difference for me if we achieve that cash balance and exit with 3400bopd.

Ref Cenkos - Does suggest they don't see an issue for Trin with regards IMO 2020

I’ll go with the last comment. Sounds fun tbh. Living together in perfect harmony . Yeah “Imagine”; !!
( and look waht happened to lovely Mr. Lennon ‘ cos he walked out into the real world).
Yep. Contradictory opinions can be good. But I read “ Mein Kampf” back to back. Hmmm. Ponder free speech.
And I read George Orwell. There’s free speech and free speech with agenda. Let’s be real. I’m not a fan of radicals. They speak very freely.
Time to go sit with Andy Pandy and Looby Loo in Hector’s House and hold hands with my fellow deludeds.
Nah..I’ll stay in reality I think.
MT.....where are you ???

Nothing new in the Cenkos note really:- CNAV of 37p- one of the largest discounts to CNAV in industry which they feel is unwarranted and should reduce as Galeota development / onshore drilling continues- Potential upside of 398%- YE estimated cash of £13.02m

Perhaps we should just sit in a big circle , hold hands and sing "Ebony and Ivory"?

No one should be taking any advice from any random person on a BB be that positive or negative. Everyone should DOYR. All I'm saying is that we shouldn't censor certain points of view and prevent people from voicing their opinions.

Best wishes to all here.

Mark, Weren't you the avatar laughing at poor TXP shareholders recently?I'm all for rational debate, things aren't going too well for any Trinidad oiler right now.You would be better to keep this board TRIN related and debate why the share is where it is.

Oil having a good day (Could all change with US inventory data at 3:30pm), looks like US shale is continuing to show a topping process, where is next years 1.5mbopd demand growth going to come from.?

On MT, if anyone wants to take the advice from someone who is derapming T&T’s oil to promote the fact that a share he actually owns in T&T (that still relies on their faltering and falling current oil production) has just drilled a gas well, that is months and months away from monetising, with the back drop of a halving of the gas price that T&T LNG producers get, is up to them....

Just a few figures that all investors should be throwing about but I doubt if they are.

The current market cap is $45m

The most recent cash is c. $22m but lets cut that to $15m (Capex etc)
(This is a low figure but all my guesstimates will be low)

Give me $45m less $15m for this company.......NO?....Why not?...OK I'll buy it.

The end of year production is to be 3400 bpd
The off shore production (1400 bpd) is fairly stable but a figure of 6% was mentioned in the presentations so I'll assume a 6% decline in production overall
per year.

Over five years my production has fallen to 2500 bpd as I'm not going to drill any new wells and not spend any of my cash on SCADA or backroom staff.
I'll just spend enough to maintain my existing wells

I've managed to squeeze out c. 5.5m barrels so if I could only make a profit of $5.50 on each barrel I'd have my money back..........wait a minute....I've made much more than that and I've still got that rather nice Galeota prospect to sell and I may sell that little west coast asset..... or I could just sell the lot.

This seems to have been a rather good deal I wonder why no-one else thought about it?

Just bit of whimsy on my part but you get my point.

There is free speech and there is justifiable free speech. Bulls don’t enter china shops. Not everyone is secure in their convictions and there is such a thing as common good morality.
I do not believe in posting on boards where I don’t hold shares as it is not my business . Nor do I believe in utter free speech withoit consideration . IS spoke very freely . As did Adolf/Mao Tse Tung/Stalin/Mussolini/Trump bla bla. Free speech is not what it may seem.
Let civility and decency prevail.
And why has my question to MT not been answered directly????

Galeota Mix 37.8° 0.19%(sulphur) Trinidad....NB: ultra low sulphur

From long list of all the world prices on Wikipedia.
As far as I can see the list is dated c. Nov 2017

If anyone is influenced by posts from MT given his background/previous posts and investing history here then more fool them.

I did post previously about the wide range in density and sulphur present in oil even from from within the same producing area/ country.

The East coast production (1200 bpd) feeds into the Galeota export terminal as does a number of nearby oil fields.
The new/proposed Galeota well (hint: the name)will feed into the same export terminal.

Guys Although I don't necessarily agree with MT, I don't think it's fair to say that if you don't hold shares you shouldn't be allowed to have a voice or post your opinions. As long aw we have researched OUR investment, understand it thoroughly and know the risks, it shouldn't matter to us what someone else's opinion is. I personally have no problem with anyone posting positive or negative aspects about my investments. They are simply exercising their right of free speech. I can disagree and post a rebuttal if I wish to do so.The other aspect of having both negatives and positives is that it adds balance to the BB
