It feels like the current share price reflects the perception that TRIN is stuck with this inept BoD. Anything that challenges that perception, even just by causing them embarrassment, has to be a good thing. Who knows where it might lead? The complacency has to end, so every share has to count.

SR. It is a mode of communication. It may well achieve nothing. Petitions often achieve nothing. But they communicate dissatisfaction.
And it doesn’t matter who leads Their nature is irrelevant. The act is symbolic.
Some of us have trusted Trin for over a decade. The last year has been the most questionnable regarding trust. They may not care for us at all,and we may just be an irritation, but they need to regain market trust.
To do nothing and roll over is an error in my/our view. Why let a personal fallout affect it, unless you genuinely believe it is of no avail. I am constantly at loggerheads with PA. That’s life.

For my part, I can't see what those behind this hope to achieve and someone has even suggested that Pavey is the one to take it forward. With such a divisive character running the show, the coalition won't last five minutes and I'm not partaking.

shabby1, I see that you have been on ADVFN for less than a year and this is your first post on ADVFN......as far as I can see.
Under normal circumstances the above would not be a problem ...indeed none of our business but before SKYSHIP adds your 180k perhaps you could give us some background info into the why and when of your fairly considerable holding.

SKYSHIP: my holding may not move the dial much, but why not add it to the total? Do not restrict yourself to just one ADVFN TRIN thread. You also have strathroyal on here (who is not me, whatever Pavey Ark thinks) and you may well get some traction on the LSE TRIN BB.

We have no idea if the large shareholders are proactive enough to make a change. I can believe they are probably involved with management, but it seems that we are the object of neglect. Where is the promised communication?

AQC888, Just checked and I have 114380 shares ....I sold the shares I bought in the low 30s.

I am willing to join in but also hope that events will overtake us.

It may be important to put a shot across their bow before the results come out:

1. No fundraise (we simply don't trust you with a large drilling budget)
2. No bonus payments for 2023
3. No low cost options given
4. Final dividend of 1.5p to meet the 15% return to shareholders.

If someone does step up and adds up all the committed shares then best to keep things to a minimum......Galeota , the drilling/extraction failings and the hedging fiasco can wait....less is more at this stage.

If presented with numbers they will know they have a problem and could be looking at an EGM....something that no management wants.

Clayton has always struck me as someone with a rather dismissive attitude to shareholders but he may find it difficult to dismiss this.

Pavey, would you join the action? I think if a change in management happens, this year of rebuilding the balance sheet is the year to do it.
The share price has reduced from 150p to 40p and the management have not made any director buys. That seals their fate for me.

5% is roughly 2M shares. This is definitely doable, even without Ab76.

At the very least such an action would embarrass the BoD and stop them banging on about delivering shareholder value, when in fact their actions have been to destroy it. It's about taking some form of positive action and forcing the BoD to take notice of us. I regret to say I hold 90k and suggest we would need the support of AB76, if ever to reach the necessary 5%. It may also be that those who acquired Bruce Dingwall's holding join, as they must also be dismayed by the mismanagement of his legacy.

That last post in itself is a classic!

Yes, no point trying to budge this BOD unless you are a chonking great holder or bring smaller holders together.
We do not know for simure whether the large holders have laid the law down…all hypothesis. They may, may not have. But they should’ve done. Not to address shareholders with anything but radio-silence is the new Trin. It did not used to be like this and I don’t like the hands-off don’t bother us approach with no communication except essential RNS. We don’t even know if Jacobin will yield a couple of barrels a day!!
Nil comms. Radio silence. Again. March now!!

For the first time in many, many weeks I ventured onto the "dark side".

I see the spiv has dragged up his imaginary friend and between them they tried to be witty......hmmm .....best sticking to one shakespearian play at a time and even that may be pushing things.

The spiv claiming to own 24k shares surprised me but if people try to get a group action please remind him that he can't put that into every one of his fake accounts.....only counts once.

I realise that historical knowledge is rather poor here but things did not go well for the real life conspirators.....really not well !!??

Moving on from the demented fantasist(s ?) things do look rather bizarre here.

Nafafa and others : a lot to think about and I'm not ruling out joining in some sort of group action.

A change is certainly required.
