19/11/2024 20:56 | Enough farming….. | kreature
19/11/2024 19:27 | I don't expect anything from labour the only houses built will be the ones private house builders build. I expect house prices to increase 25% minimum in 5 years, land prices on average are doubling every 10 years, posters on heredo not understand or comprehend the huge shortages of houses we are facing in this country or the fact that land for building is in extremely short supply, unfortunately you can't build on all land even brown field comes with extreme challenges, I think that it is almost certain that labour will never get in to power again & I think it very unlikely they will stay in power for the full term, In a few short months they have allianated every single farmer in the country & every company that has staff, when do they start building all these house, year 4? | jugears
19/11/2024 17:25 | The economy is propped up by house prices. If you think the government is going to build enough houses to bring prices down you will be waiting a while. | trying2trade
19/11/2024 16:52 | Very few investors buy new builds anyway( excluding housing associations) | jugears
19/11/2024 16:48 | K, 'No sane private landlord is buying new build to rent out' Or second hand homes. Labour have killed new and existing investors in the PRS. Rents are going one way, the same as new builds, second hand homes, that is up! | beckers2008
19/11/2024 16:16 | If we don't build more houses then we won't see rents or house prices fall, simple as! | jugears
19/11/2024 16:14 | No sane private landlord is buying new build to rent out. And if rents keep increasing, that’s inflationary along with the wages that will have to rise to pay for the rent. It’ll end in hyperinflation and a new digital currency. And perhaps they’ll throw in a war just to make sure the digital currency goes through smoothly? | kreature
19/11/2024 16:02 | K, The resident landlord on here is making a fortune out of tenants chasing properties. Last count, 17 tenants chasing 1 property. There's only one way that rents are going and that is up making buying a new build increasingly affordable in comparison. Now when is this house price crash going to happen, lol, just lol! | beckers2008
19/11/2024 15:53 | It’ll all end in tears becks……. Landlords have to jack up rent to cover new regs and epc upgrade and now the boiler upgrade, tenants stretched so demanding pay increases to pay for food and rent. Vicious circle. I don’t see how the uk is immune from a hyperinflation episode ? Prob be an excellent excuse to bring in the digital currency? | kreature
19/11/2024 15:44 | Wow farms only paying 20% when everyone else pays 40% and still they complain… | kreature
19/11/2024 15:20 | "Beckers2008 - 02 Aug 2023 - 13:03:25 - 14941 of 19139 From Property118.com "The average UK rent has soared by 19% to reach £1,137 in July from June and voids are dropping quickly to highlight the strong competition in the private rented sector (PRS), one index reports" Expect rents to increase by another 10% in Q3 as Students increase the demand. Buying a new build is becoming ever more attractive, rents within 45 minutes of London Mainline are now £1,400 pcm for a 3 bed ex council house. Expect those ex council houses to be £1,500 pcm in Q1 2024" END. I underestimated, Q1 2024 those same houses reached £1,600 pcm. Watch and learn trolls. Now when is this house price crash going to happen, lol, just lol! | beckers2008
19/11/2024 14:56 | sikhthetech, It's the hangover of the event of 17-9-19, a whoopsie reckoned 4 to 7 times bigger than the Lehman's whoopsie. To give you some idea, the Repo-Market crash cost $19.87 TRILLIONS! between 17th Sept and 31st Dec 2019, after which the FED stopped reporting the figures. Very likely cost $60 to $80 trillions, but you don't need to know about that, there's a mild flu bug going to kill you all, hide under the bed! This is a page of links, tracking the event and the fall out over the years since. Start at the bottom of the page. Agree Labour are clueless, but then their agenda is not about improving Britain, it's about handing the place over to some other entity. If it turns out to be China, then all this kow-towing to the religion of peace, will be swept out the door! | lefrene
19/11/2024 14:09 | CRST update tom. | sikhthetech
19/11/2024 13:29 | Lefrene, Agree. The reality is severe debt crisis from years ago is coming back to bite. The severe debt crisis from GFC was never resolved properly. Added to the huge cost of Covid and the country is on it's knees. Labour are clueless. Their budget will only make things worse. | sikhthetech
19/11/2024 13:13 | I see you’re quoting dvd out of context there Becky. Shocking behaviour and language. I strongly suspect you to be the wife of Jugs | kreature
19/11/2024 10:28 | DvD, I qoute you... "You're posting on an obscure chat board late in the evening" And you replied later, you really are a clueless mug-punter, lol, just lol! | beckers2008
19/11/2024 09:30 | Yeah I think Becks threw in the towel tbf | kreature
18/11/2024 23:59 | Calm down beckers. You're posting on an obscure chat board late in the evening, and no one cares about what you write. If you're truthful, I'm less likely to call you a berk, that's all. We could call it a conversation. You've not answered the question though; if you've really sold your TW holding, then you don't expect the shareprice to go up, so you're essentially agreeing with me. So why are you posting on here? | danvandan
18/11/2024 23:27 | DvD, U called me Berk before? Now U are calling me Beckers? R U wanting 2 B intimate! lol, just lol! | beckers2008
18/11/2024 23:19 | Because I love you, lol, just lol! | beckers2008
18/11/2024 23:00 | Beckers, ok, let's say I believe you then regarding your holding of TW shares. If what you say is true, you must've been somewhat regretful when the share price hit 166p, but let's just also accept that timing the market is as difficult for you as it is for anyone. But if you have no holding in TW, why are you arguing with me? If you sold, well done. You made a profit. But you also essentially agree with me and the other shorts on here that TW's price is going down, right? If you didn't think that, you'd still be long, right? So why are you posting here? | danvandan
18/11/2024 21:52 | K, Have you reported me to 'ADVFN Admin'for being rude, lol, just lol! | beckers2008
18/11/2024 21:35 | Don’t need to know how much money you spent or lost Beck. Would be grateful if you would keep that info private, thanks . Unless it’s 10 grand per point in which case it becomes entertaining | kreature |
