Don’t need to know how much money you spent or lost Beck. Would be grateful if you would keep that info private, thanks . Unless it’s 10 grand per point in which case it becomes entertaining

DvD,

'berk2008; really? You've really sold all of your TW holding? Why're you posting here every day then? There's a strong smell of bullsh1t coming from your posts.'

Reads my posts troll, the evidence is all there to see.
Ask your troll mate Sikhthetech, he knows as it copied and pasted one purchase so many times to remember, lol.

Three posts relate to...
1. buy at £1.32.
2. buy at £1.03
3. buy at £0.86
Each buy was £5,000 worth.

4. sell total holding at £1.36.

I do not have appetite if you care or not but just proving you, another troll that you are intelligently challenged and wrong, lol, just lol!

You are not relevant and not credible.

Housebuilders are '..no different to any company..'? Wake up you idiot. A house is a massive hard-to-sell asset for most people and usually their biggest asset AND their home. It's not the same as a packet of biscuits or a fashionable coat.

As for 1.5 million HOMES, not necessarily houses, the govt will easily get there over five years. There are literally hundreds of UK house-builders. You continue to ignore the most obvious obstacle - houses are over-priced through years of zero interest and govt subsidy. Those days are over and they are NOT returning. The environment has fundamentally changed. TW is now stuck with an over-valued landbank, an over-promised dividend policy, a depressed low-volume market and a diminishing cash-pile. Something has to give; first and foremost it will be the shareprice and the dividend.

sickly I bought at 30-37p whenever that was?, I've had circa £1.20 in dividends since. It works out to an overall gain of just over 300% since my first purchase ( excluding dividends) it was after 2008

Spawny, I never take dividends for granted & certainly wouldn't invest in a share just for dividends,
Sickly I do not like labour either but it doesn't matter who is in power, businesses just get on with running there business, I faced challenges ever year for nearly 50 yearsd, you just have to get on with it!, Explain why hb's are worst effected? they are no different to any company in fact I can think of a lot more that will be far worse hit than house builders, any company that employs staff will be affected, the uk gov want 1.5 million houses they are not going to get there on their own, its not going to happen anyway.

"There is something deeply troubling about the UK market at present with so many shares, even ftse100 ones"

Labour, Budget, hike in NI.

Worst affected hospitality, retailers, HBs...

Labour is now in power for 4+ years!!

28487 yes that's correct and looks like a decent call the steer clear of VTY. I'm glad I got rid of both CRST and VTY earlier in the year. They were part of my solid "safe as houses" portfolio but I suddenly woke up and smelled the coffee. There is something deeply troubling about the UK market at present with so many shares, even ftse100 ones, at or approaching 10% yield. Either they're complete bargains.....or they're not! Market seems to be pointing to further weakness and potential dividend cuts imo - e.g with VOD it was obvious cut was coming. Above 10% yield and the implication is that generally the market thinks yield is unsustainable imo.

Also, berk2008 - your ADVICE?? Where's your 'advice' telling everyone to sell when you claim that YOU sold? You're a liar, plain and simple, and a thick one at that.

DvD,

I have made money here and hopefully for others that took my advice at 86p. Check my posts and you will see the date I posted and the other two posts, one of which Sikhthetech copies and pastes, lol!
And when I sold.

You, being the clueless mug-punter went short at £1.335 and witnessed the share price rocket over £1.60 smashing through your stoploss if you had one, lol!

You are relatively new to this BB and you have certainly made a fool of yourself in such a short space of time, lol, just lol!

Btw, here's the Investors Chronicle article on TW last week. berk2008/cupra pr@tt, I suggest you get an adult to read it to you.

TIME TO CASH IN ON THIS HOUSEBUILDER
The developer has a lot going for it, but the market has cottoned on and the share price may have reached the end of the road

pigsear, you were 'extremely confident' these would be 180p a few weeks ago. Prices have NOT 'risen sharply'. They've been practically at a standstill. Long-term, ok, maybe TW will do alright, but short-term the shares are likely to go much much lower, and if cash continues to drain away, a share-placing is a possibility, driving the shares EVEN LOWER. Look around you chum. Perhaps it's old age that's affecting you, but take a look at the environment; TW's shareprice is heading down relentlessly and your gibberings make no difference whatsoever. When the hedge-funds start shorting, it's time to take your head out of your ar$e and take action.

"I have made on average 20% a year on Tw shares in 16 years,"

The share price is the same as it was in Aug 2008, 15years ago, Aug when the share price was 125p.

If you had bought 15years ago, you would have made nothing on your capital investment.

FACT.

CK,

DvD's imaginary short you mean, lol!

When it said it was going to post it's shorting contract note, then must have realized after it said it that, that's impossible on a Adfvn BB, lol!

Love it when someone whinges that someone else is posting all day and then does the same themselves. Very odd behaviour. He'll be £100 up on his short now though, if he hadn't of got stopped out on it!
