The Ace of Delays by Motorhead could well be our theme tune. You win some, lose some, it.s all the same to me ...gambling is for fools ... thats the way i like it baby, I dont dont want to live forever ...

If indeed that qualifies as an excuse at all ! Anyway let’s hope for a turn around.

It is indeed. If things are going wrong - they should say so, and get it out in the open. Much better than delaying as they did last time.

Early April ...7weeks ...no time whatsoever ...gotta get the jobs filled and then get em up to pace. Slim chance. The share price will tell you b4 then ...insiders will just drip sell. Aim circus. Main guys got history now. Typical Aim types ...ye ha! Such a shame.

The fact is that we won't know how the ramp-up is going until early April. And missing the £23m - if that were to transpire - doesn't automatically mean another raise. They just don't have a great deal of cash headroom. These situations take some steeliness.

The first inkling of whether, yet again, Bundred & Johnson have spoken with forked tongue will be when we get some production figs. This company has been like a bloody sieve when it comes to insider information....investors now have very little faith in Bundred or Johnson after an utterly disastrous performance by the two of them over last 18 months.

Glad I didn't take up the offer at 10p.
It's all very disappointing.

I was concerned with the 23m revenue figure they expect which seems a very long haul from where they are and given the production issues and new plant install it just seemed far too optimistic . I suspect they are going to miss that figure which will be taken badly and also require another fund raise at even lower prices hence the pressure on the shareprice .
Love the product but at the final hurdle , commercialisation, they seem to hitting too many issues and managing the problems poorly and it's costing shareholders . It's not an unfamiliar story just a costly one .

I'll watch how it unfolds but I predict a revenue miss and fund raise later this year possibly as low as 5p as these markets are brutal if you need money

Worth a quick look at the current vacancies they.re desperately trying to fill. Clearly grafting day n night. Need to get a move on. Need to meet orders. There will be new competitors - crack bldy on!

Thanks for the explanation although I thought most of that expenditure was incorporated into their years figures . Does make sense but still seems a very large outlay in a short space and leaves them susceptible to requiring more funds later this year if things don't go well again . I'd rather they be more prudent in this market and with the share price where it is .
Seems a lot of questions and concerns here still that need answering one way or the other

SP says it all. Share option scheme sweetener so transparent. 'Let.s try and stop workers from leaving' . Lets hope they haven.t got bigger probs than they.re letting on. Pinky positive doing his best. Been to Nissan?

I doubt many on here have been through an audit by an automotive OEM.I have and it includes controls around quality, health and safety etc etc.In all organisations which are improving processes and ramping up, there will be casualties-there always are, usually disgruntled and disruptive on the way out.I would be disappointed if we didn’t see some of this!!

Lol, could be a long wait for someone to answer the telephone based on the last attempt to speak with the CFO!

Per recent RNS:

“The Company also intends to launch an HMRC approved share incentive plan ("SIP") for the whole workforce in April 2024. The broad outline of this scheme was also approved by shareholders at the 2023 AGM. Further details of the SIP will be announced in due course.”

My guess is the strike price point will depend on the share price when it begins which I assume coincides with the new tax year and new company year in early April. The company is stuck with HMRC limitations which is something like a maximum of 5% below prevailing market price (used to be the case but those rules might have changed). The upside is the tax treatment on eventual exercise is better in an HMRC approved scheme than for an LTIP.

I hope the staff share options have been reissued or repriced as generously as mgmts !

As far as I know workers at ST still get share options after 6 months employment and also get an extra days holiday on their birthday. This always gave me the impression that ST wanted their staff onside.

Perhaps best to get a job there and find out what is going on and report back.

Trouble is, ignoring the spelling and general grumpiness, this does have a ring of truth about it. A few more of these and investors will start getting on the phone with Johnson asking about what's happening. Given he clearly doesn't give a fig for investors, it wouldn't be a surprise to learn he has same attitude to the shop floor.

Sounds like the kind of person who would give a restaurant one star on trustpilot because he got a slightly burnt chip on his plate.
