Very thin . As I've said before there is hardly any free float (175m) and when you strip out the top 3 shareholders that could equate to 125m. Take note.

MA must have been hugely cheered by the judgement.

I do think from listening and reading around the decision that the right call was made by 'me learned judge'. Jeffery Blue was clearly an outrageous chancer trying to rinse millions out of Mr Ashley based on a drunken conversation and calling it a verbal contract.

Should never have come to court in the first place.

Perhaps this will begin to redeem the pantomime villain 'Boo hiss' image that the British press has hung around Mike Ashley's neck for so long.

Ironically, I wonder if Jeffrey Blue's misplaced court action could be the beginning of a sentiment change that does indeed take the share price back up to £8

Worthy of repeating:

In a statement after the ruling Mr Ashley said: "The only reason the Sports Direct share price exceeded £8, and will hopefully do so again, is because of the sterling efforts of all the people who work at Sports Direct."
