Just watching the final trades of the day and SPD have got quite aggressive with their share purchases and so close to the figures. Would they do doing that if the figures and statement were overly bearish ?I'll guess we'll find out soon but if it's bad news then serious questions will be asked plus DD will need some KY for his old boy :)

Raising revenue is expected to increase to 3.2b but profits have been put in the range of 120-145m . I'm sure the recent USA purchases are a means to secure future dollar earnings, bypassing the need to convert sterling thus helping to hedge the dollar. Cost of European operations set to increase, some say as much as 40% however. At the end of the day no one really knows how bad profits will be because he never gives updates.

Can any LTH assist?Run some numbers around the buyback. Whilst MA currently has 62% holding, calculating pre buyback and shares in issue MA must have held 55% (330 million out of 596 million), also assuming they do indeed complete the buyback then MA's holding would have increased by nearly 10% to 65% (nearly two-thirds majority holding), not bad at all as it's been funded by shareholders!. Odd thing though the buyback only increases eps by about 5%.Appreciate somebody checking my numbers as it's been difficult today trying to trade and busk at the same time - always busier when the sun is shining!.DD
