I've just spoken to the trader in SPD. The general market view is small up (1-2%) but as I've said before early calls can be way out so don't shoot the messenger.

The buyback - It's a win win not a double edged sword, MA gains an extra 10% gratis, thus reducing minority holding (35%) and the amount he has to pay out. The limit of £3 has provided resistance not support for the share price - if it's support then when the buy back stops (Sept) support has gone and the price will tank.Time will tell.DDps the free float 20%?, limit is 25%, FCA will do what?

I don't think he intends to take it private either. By supporting the price up to 300p he is keeping the 12 month average artificially high which would require his offer price to be artificially high. Saying that it's MA .....

I can't decide if all the bad news is already priced in. I'm sure there will be another announce to nudge the share price down. If not can't see any support if the share price was to rise above 300p either.

I've sold out. Less than 10% profit on the maximum I'd invested since October. Not great, but can't see this share doing much in the short term.

My opinion is that it's worth a lot more than 300p a share, but my opinion counts for nothing.

I'll reinvest if it drops below 270p.
