FestarioIt was touch and go sir. It's been a tough ride for all of us. Hope everyone has made some money. It's amazing how after nearly a year and the price doing absolutely nothing that all of a sudden they go moon in space of a week or so.

Let's just say I wouldn't want to see those graph in reverse i.e£ vs $ 1.12 and € vs $ 1.02 . Now that would be bad for margins but what do I know .

When you look at the £ vs $ we are now trading above 1.32 . I know they (SPD) have a hedge in place at 1.31 but surely they can still take advantage of a week dollar. The same could also be said for the € vs $ which is now trading at 1.18 and over.I don't thing SPD ever mentioned about having a hedge in place for € vs $.

MA seen as a winner who has come out unscathed from all the press could thow at him. The world has an insatiable appetite for sport so SPD well placed to take advantage.

It's funny when you think about it but SPD are up 80p in 6 days and we've got the quietest chat room in 10 months. I wonder if Real Madrid fans have the same problem .....

It's hard to work out fair value, the shortage of stock will undoubtedly be squeezing the shorters, but last I looked shorts were only at about 2%. It seems to do well on bad days which I think is the shorters trying to close positions when they can.

At this rate Debenhams won't have enough space in their store for all his bolt on companies that MA has accumulated.

SPD now interested in 27% of French Connection. Looks like a probable takeover if he can persuade Marx to sell.
