ProShares a $27 billion ETF manager, is preparing a trio of funds that profit from the woes of bricks and mortar retailers, according to prospectuses filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The planned launches come as investors have turned sharply negative towards the traditional retailing chains".DD

DiscoDave4 - 08 Jul 2017 - 17:03 - 5037 of 5154 - 0Revenue may IMO be slightly up on forecasts, circa £3,260m but margins are going to get hit, again all in the opinion of a sad deramper. But then most on here only think revenue is important so everything will be tickety boo. Do hope so for all the nice LTH.DD

Stokie,Sorry may have misinterpreted your post, your talking MA's offer.Yep according to takeover code must offer at least the max paid last 12 months pre the offer, so agree Oct would be about 320.They previously stated the buyback "programme" was up to Sept, they have an AGM Sept as well, also the 52w high would then be about 325. May get some indication in next weeks results as to whether or not they are extending the buyback but guess Sept may be more critical in terms of gleaning MA's private longer term thinking!.DD

FestarioVery true sir. They just can't hold any gains whatsoever. I've held these since September last year and next week will decide what I do with them. The figures won't be great but I think we all know that but if there's any surprises then they'll get the granny's kicked out of them. His statement will also be key because if it's even slightly bearish then you'll have to question why he's been buying stock in the first place. You only buy them if you see value and not just to steady the price. For such a flamboyant fella you'd think the stock would follow in his footsteps but it's more like Ken Barlow as far as excitement goes.Good weekend sir
