They will have approved a broker to buy under certain parameters, plenty of companies do it.

It's almost like he will say something that's not figure related because we know the form on that front but maybe some kind of board related statement or possibly an extension of the buyback . I'd rather he had something positive to say on the trading side but just can't see it.

Surely a company should not be buying its own shares so close to it's annual results, even if they have previously stated a buyback program. It leads you to think they know something you don't, which they do, but then most things point to disappointing results.

We'll get a very clear picture of the risk appetite for SPD today before the figures . Anything close to £3 shows a very nervous punter.

Why are their online sales so small? They are not as competitive as they could be IMO and bricks and mortar, especially "selfridges", is not going to generate any earnings growth in the short/medium term, the business model and management generally is failing IMHO.DD

I noticed on another bb that someone commented on a spd superstore and how quite it seemed. I must say I don't think mine is performing brilliantly either. I hope this is not a sentiment nationwide although mine does seem to operate with the Sam num we if staff as the smaller one it replaced.

Back in the uk, paid a visit to JD as needed some trainers for the kids, 150 quid for a decent pair of nikes! No wonder they got hit with the tie up with amazon. Never got to Spd.

TerminatedYour welcome. As posted many times will keep on posting just for the SPD famous four (Useless, Unnavailable, Terminated & Nortic).......the condescending, disrespectful, rude, arrogant individuals who suffer completely from confirmation bias and cannot accept any contrarian views. You keep addressing me and being rude and I will keep doing the same.DD

Lads I was only teasing him . I'm on the south coast but still 200 miles from heaven which is Monaco . Many a Grand Prix there but alas that avenues of pleasure has been shut down to me. Ignoble was that the weekend you spent with Sarah Winterflood and friends . There's so many cheap properties down here and the food and wine is great. Makes you wonder if we should just give it all up for a better quality of life.
