06/6/2019 10:21 | Why do you say the Egypt assets were overvalued? Seems a bit early to make that judgement. The BoD clearly doesn't think so, and as a significant part of the purchase was in SIA shares - which declined in price after the deal and before completion - it could be argued they did quite well. If Egypt turns out as they hope/expect there could well be a useful boost to revenue and the share price | greyingsurfer
06/6/2019 07:35 | Buy well what's your target for sia, I have 50p | russiaguru
06/6/2019 07:34 | Averaging down is not deemed a good idea by the experienced investment community I believe. It's playing the game of ... 'catch the falling knife ' And with a chart like SIA ? | buywell3
06/6/2019 07:31 | Empty - but they haven't had much success in Vietnam with downgrades etc, Egypt assets were overpriced with declining boepd and high tax rates. They have wasted a lot of money and time if compared to the likes of rre. Surely they should and could still pick up some quality assets | russiaguru
06/6/2019 07:31 | Interesting ... | buywell3
06/6/2019 07:18 | FWIW I now hold more shares here than at any time in the last 10 years. | emptyend
06/6/2019 07:13 | I get rather tired of people saying "£4 down to 65p" and simply ignoring the c.94p per share paid in cash to shareholders over the last 6 years. And, at the same time, ignoring the context of oil prices falling by c.40% that has impacted every other company in the sector (often by much more than SOCO).So really can't be bothered to respond further. | emptyend
05/6/2019 16:39 | To have gone from over £4 to about 65p in 5 years is pretty awful. This has been a rotten investment for quite a few years, and I struggle to see a case for investing in it. I would, however, be grateful for a rational counter case | unclephilip
02/6/2019 10:48 | Hi guys I'm buying some of these tomorrow. Good level to get a few. | ahmedbin69
02/6/2019 04:53 | .................. OIL OFF THE BOIL .................... Nearly 10% drop in 2 days and some here continue to ramp ... you should be ashamed of yourselves IMO | buywell3
02/6/2019 01:26 | And I have a feeling that there isn't, but I've nothing to support that view. There, that's two pointless posts. | glavey
01/6/2019 16:43 | I get the feeling there is another deal looming - perhaps SE Asia? | yasrub
31/5/2019 18:32 | ....Dividends reinvested..... | emptyend
31/5/2019 08:32 | I only bought in at this level (68.5p) but it is in part of the allocation of my fund I use for speculative plays I try to keep these to just two or maybe three stocks. This share price is so bombed out it could go either way but the dividends help. | creditcrunchies
31/5/2019 08:23 | Received mine 9.00 am ! | dmf
31/5/2019 08:12 | Some brokers credit accounts on the payment dates. Others wait for it to clear, so perhaps a day later, or even later today. | greyingsurfer
31/5/2019 07:54 | Thanks haven't received mine yet but could be down to what broker you use? | mick1909
31/5/2019 07:53 | Should be today | knowing
31/5/2019 07:43 | When does the dividend go into peoples accounts? | mick1909
30/5/2019 15:52 | You know nothing john .... 66.6p again see | buywell3
30/5/2019 15:36 | If buywell is posting it's a sure buy sign | knowing
30/5/2019 15:32 | OIL is dropping hard | buywell3
30/5/2019 15:27 | Of course the one thing people seem to ignore here is the possibility of further deals. I'm reminded of RdS's strategy comments from last year's AGM. | emptyend |
