My broker never even contacted me about my holding or the takeover protocol..no information posted either, this seems very strange and very suspicious...

I would recommend you contact your broker if you are wishing to vote other than the automatic position, if its not to late already, I voted last week...

I hold shares in an account administered by Interactive Investor. Can anyone tell me how I cast my vote

kk, have you tried going to your account and clicking on portfolio? The dropdown includes voting mailbox in the options and there should be a pink spheroid with a number in it to it's right.

If so, simply click on voting mailbox and follow the instructions.

Have you not received a couple of e-mails from II recently - including one last evening?

“Sold mine the day the offer was made“
You had the shares for less than 24 hours , you bought in the day of the leak in the pub.

Looking forward to seeing it voted down.......

Whats the bet on time to declaring admin?

I'd give it less than 24 hours after vote fails.

Possibly suspension of shares whilst meeting is held and votes are counted.

Should all be very interesting.

"It deal gets voted down game on."

How?

Management pull finance deal out of hat, that they were surpressing because they love AAL so much.

CF would rather take 7m for his shares than do his absolute best to hold on to the company, really?

Biggest issue here is if bid fails management are open to charges of insolvent trading. They will not take any risks with this and call in the administrators PDQ.

Losing shares is one thing, losing all of your personal assets to pay creditors is quite another.

Why do you think that they accepted the AAL deal in the first place?

AAL know full well that if the bid is turned down, that SXX will appoint administrators and AAL will make the administrators an offer they can't refuse. Likely in a pre-pack deal.

Watch this space.
