18/2/2020 07:58 | If it looks like the vote could be lost, could they sell the mine to AAL from the plc just keeping the pls as a shell, like FlyBe did. | graham2405

17/2/2020 16:36 | kk56 - Was that HL because friend had same call, and rang HL, who said they have had many calls regarding this issue, will be investigating how individual shareholder information has been taken... I'm voting NO just to spite CF out of his £7 million holding, if it goes bust he gets nothing like the rest of us.... | beeezzz
17/2/2020 16:25 | Is this anglo talking up risk of no vote to pick up some shares at an even lower price? | kkclimber56

17/2/2020 16:23 | 5.5p will be 20% total value for me so very difficult to vote for it . But see no other option. Thankfully Kie rise has offset to some degree. Swings and roundabouts | thomstar
17/2/2020 16:02 | Mori1. Anyone voting yes still gets nothing if the bid fails. Complete nonsense is being posted here. e.g the idea that there will be some sort of auction ending up with shareholders getting a better price than 5.5p. It's 5.5p or nothing unless a very unlikely counter bid or AAL upping their offer. Can't see why AAL would do that as there is also a chance that they could get Sirius for less cost if shareholders vote no as that would save them paying out 5.5p a share. But the bigger risk for the local area is if AAL just walk away if their bid fails and the whole project finishes. That would be a disaster for the local area and the many working for Sirius. Yes, Sirius have made big mistakes as have brokers and newspaper tipsters who all failed to make it clear that buying shares in such a costly and ambitious project was very risky. e.g the likes of the Midas Mail on Sunday column for one. That misled so many small investors who don't normally invest in shares. So they had no idea that buying shares in a Company needing to raise around £3 billion and with no revenues or profits for years was a big gamble. After that bulletin boards like this one were full of posts from Sirius holders with very little investsment experience leading each other astray. It's all very sad, and will be the more so if the whole project is now finished. | kenmitch
17/2/2020 15:48 | heaven The answer is NO. The falling share price is because the market is pricing in an increasing chance of small investors voting against the AAL bid. If that happens SXX shareholders will end up with nothing instead of 5.5p. It seems some don't realise that and others are so bitter about it that they are prepared to risk seeing the whole project fail, which would be terrible news for the local economy and the many Sirius workers who would end up losing their jobs. So only buy SXX shares below 5.5p if confident (or willing to gamble) that Sirius investors will vote yes. | kenmitch
17/2/2020 15:05 | Help to protect your Sirius Minerals investment SM never bothered asking the +50% owners of the company if we would like to help raise the $600m So if we demonstrate to them that we can do so, we may yet fend off the AA bid and get to keep our shares. Please visit the dedicate website setup for this here: hxxps://fundsirius.c This is really important and our best chance of KEEPING OUR SHARES IN SIRIUS MINERALS PLEASE tell everyone, we need this to go viral to reach all the 85,000 shareholders and people that just want to help It does not matter if you are an existing shareholder - EVERYONE CAN DO THIS | maxdoom

17/2/2020 14:49 | I should add as I have got my first red in a long time that I have continued to hold my shares against my financial judgement, | our haven
17/2/2020 14:35 | If this is voted down then the board will put the company into administration. With auditors in place, I honestly believe an auction will take place and then the price will be higher than the current offer price. This of course will be of zero value for the shareholders in financial terms, however it will be damming of the board. Only time will tell but I think this one is going to zero | our haven
17/2/2020 13:25 | Following the situation very closely. I sold out at a loss of £3200 and accepted. The stock today has fallen by 13% owing to a fear that share holders might reject the bid. I am so disgusted by the way private investors have been duped. Still tempted to buy back in at the price I paid at and accept another £3000 loss on my investment. I think to accept 5.5p is a disgrace. I also agree to a large extent that to reject and lose everything is better than this situation. Ethically I think this is completely wrong. | morti1

17/2/2020 11:17 | Post from another BB. EML.....Potash Miner. =============== sportbilly1976 17 Feb '20 - 09:35 - 13858 of 13861 0 1 0 EML - rns this morning. Boxes continue to be ticked in its progress to feasibility study release (which is still ahead of schedule - was originally due H1 2020) Comparison on the thread to a similar Aussie company (Highfield) which had a FS release valuation of 28% the NPV10. Applying the same valuation discount to EML puts a near-term price target of 35-56p (depending on whether using the $1.1bln or uplifted $1.8bln NPV10 value) current buy price 5p | 11_percent
17/2/2020 11:14 | @mr.oz, You mentioned a while back, a technical term. It was for a trader to make money buying and selling a share over a day/week/month. The aim is to make money by buying below the average, and selling above the average. You had the technical term for it.....what was it. Did write it down, but cant find it. Also cant get it in Investipedia. Understand it, just need the technical term for a guy on another BB. Cheers. | 11_percent

17/2/2020 10:47 | I half agree. The note yes side had no incentive to stay in and vote yes whilst it was near 5.5, they have now made sure those still in have an incentive to vote yes. Balls, vote it down, | pazzuzu
