Well you may well be right, but I'm personally more optimistic I must say. I thought I could identify around 10 to 15mm shares bought back by funds - they've been selling historically anywhere above 25p, but this time seemingly above 26p. Below 22p back in December/Jan time it was only highbridge that bought back and that was only about 4mm shares. We will find out soon enough anyway but we really could be anywhere at the moment.

Speaking of CBs (and as it's the time of day for conspiracy theories) - did you PUT any cash down on a particular car manufacturer...? Hilariously ridiculous sequence of events worthy of a bad film, with CBs again the star of the show. And cue the subsequent actions that'll inevitably lead to pleas of "I was having a breakdown honest so please go easy" etc. Way worse than AIM.

Still reckon we have a long way to go with the CBs. The higher volume certainly helps but I suspect most of the CB holders would have been buyers during the recent rout which is no good to us.

Haha! Hi NMRN,

Well to be fair, people are being given advance notice and plenty of time to stick or hold. Admittedly some got more advance than others, but it's a start!

Still think we will be ok. And still very interested to see where we stand with CBs- literally could be anywhere post these higher vol days. share price being intraday jumpy, which is possibly a good sign. Stay tuned.

PPVN,

Hmm. It would appear the "we are not planning to raise capital" is just as bad on the main market!

Mmm. Had a few expensive lessons there myself (as i'm sure we all have). Most important lesson?

Statement: "We are not planning to raise capital"

Translation: prepare to lose 50% of your investment within 3 days (If you're lucky).

Not a place for trust. I was pleased when sirius moved to the main market.

Hi Lenses,

Might not share my homework if people are going to gloat...

I just post here to try and help out whilst our cb funds are about. Better in someone's pocket in my opinion - doesn't change my investment.

I rather feel bad for those who may be suffering sellers remorse (They may be proven right yet, let's not forget).

See you in Nottingham, sheriff!

Henchard, the 95 million shares will be issued for an investment shown in the balance sheet at cost (i.e. the value of shares at issue). I wouldn't expect any tangible asset value in the subsidiaries they are buying into. It is a thinly disguised equity raise to 'pay for' a £30 million investment in the balance sheet. Stage 2 funders will want to see as much equity as possibly in the structure as equity takes the first slice of risk. The rising share price might persuade some of the CBs to convert which would also be helpful. I wouldn't be hugely surprised if the share price continued into the 30s and the Company announced a small institutional placing to try and satisfy 'overwhelming demand'. I am a long term sceptic but I wouldn't dream of shorting SXX as you can easily get caught out.
