17/9/2018 15:17 | Hi Spirito, Obviously lots more differences, but using insurance float to leverage bets on the stock market is a risky business! Had WBs bets gone south, particularly in the early years, would the outcome have been so different? | ppvn
17/9/2018 15:12 | they probably see getting 95 mill shares in Sirius as a real bargain! if they didnt believe in SXX they would just have signed an offtake agreement. | spirito
17/9/2018 15:10 | Re the South American offtake " Linked to the Supply Agreement Sirius has also agreed to acquire through one of its wholly owned subsidiaries a 30 per cent equity interest in each of the Cibra Group Companies for a total of 95 million fully paid ordinary shares of Sirius." Followed by "Cibra is a top six fertilizer distributor in Brazil with annual revenues of approximately US$500m" Buying 30% of a $500m turnover business for 95m SXX shares seems like quite the steal...... | 2theduke
17/9/2018 15:09 | crikey PPVN i think there were more differences than that! | spirito
17/9/2018 14:57 | Getting up in the morning is a gamble. I suppose the trick is to know which bets to place and keep in mind everything could go to zero, regardless of how good a company can look. Key difference between Buffett and Madoff? One of them saw their gambles pay off. | ppvn
17/9/2018 14:48 | sellers have left the building having been shafted. relentless upward pressure ensues! | spirito
17/9/2018 14:16 | Seems like a decent announcement today. | excellance
17/9/2018 13:51 | i hold 825000 shares. 80k down from the recent highs but happy to hold. | spirito
17/9/2018 12:34 | I still hold and have done for years, Sxx is by far my biggest investment, I do trade upto 20% of my holdings, currently have 90% invested as I bought some at 24p and sold them just at over 28p on Friday. I did buy some at 32p however, the day before the RNS | noramping

17/9/2018 11:15 | Mr.Oz, Sirius, if all goes according to plan, will have a mine connected to a dock and costs of around $30 a tonne. It's the most disruptive thing that I've been able to find in the fertilizer business since, well, forever really. We currently have CB sales as well as the specter of dilution on our hands. But if stage 2 is agreed, whoever buys in will do so in the knowledge that barring any horrendous cost overruns or catastrophic issues sirius are fully funded to 10mt. Some here have sold some or all of their holdings (some with a view to possibly buying back in cheaper) which may be the smart thing to do. I haven't sold any nor will I for a few years yet - we will find out what was the sensible thing to do in a few short months. I do believe sirius have a great hand and that there will be many possible investors having conversations. But that's only my feeling from the information that we as shareholders have. | ppvn
17/9/2018 10:52 | Goose. Whilst we are having to take a forward view , it all seems so very disruptive. Not sure people are going to take this laying down. More Upstarts on the block getting bold together. | mr.oz
17/9/2018 10:19 | This mornings RNS is a another positive John while your on , definition of ramper ! | dp1umb
17/9/2018 10:17 | "Minimum contracted take-or-pay volume commitments under the Supply Agreement increase to 2.5 Mtpa by the seventh year following commencement of commercial production. The Supply Agreement contains provisions which allow Cibra to roll forward and roll back a small proportion of take-or-pay volumes between contract years. " | thanksamillion
17/9/2018 10:08 | Dont get greedy now. | datait
17/9/2018 10:03 | Major Supply Agreement and Downstream Investment in South America § Sirius signs its largest POLY4 supply agreement for up to 2.5 Mtpa § Long-term supply agreement with Cibra, Brazil's sixth largest fertilizer distributor group § Acquisition of 30 per cent. equity stake in Cibra in return for 95 million ordinary shares in Sirius § Sirius aggregate peak contracted take-or-pay sales volume increased to 8.2 Mtpa ===== § Sirius signs its largest POLY4 supply agreement for up to 2.5 Mtpa § Sirius aggregate peak contracted take-or-pay sales volume increased to 8.2 Mtpa What a load of rubbish......they have not met the 7 Mtpa, this agreement is for UP TO 2.5 Mtpa. The banks wont like it. | 11_percent
17/9/2018 09:26 | Who is the worst deramper you have come across? This would be good opportunity to warn other investors (esp newbies) about the heartless souls who will quite happily promote or slag off shares without any real credible info and watch your wealth disappear. | johnwise
17/9/2018 09:25 | Of course the 95 million shares are new shares. Fully-paid shares just means they are not partly-paid shares (which you rarely see these days). Every share you are ever likely to deal in is fully-paid whether you buy it direct from the company or on the stock market. | danny baker
17/9/2018 09:20 | Johnmoron, If you believe that to be the ACTUAL figures you are more of a moron than everyone already thinks! NMRN | not my real name |
