Science Takeover Rumours (SAG)

Last time Martyn purchased shares he kept firing bullets every day for a while . I note exactly 10,000 shares were purchased in one order again this morning . I think there is a good chance of recovery in Ricardo’s margins , it’s the kind of advanced consultancy that should be making double digit margins . If something else goes wrong it’s hard to believe the board will survive , and we will eventually takeover the company at an ultra low price

I am glad to see that CMS2is doing well and this seems to vindicate the takeover of TPG a few years ago. I believe that SAG sold off TPG's other assets. Frontier Smart Technology, acquired in 2019, was acclaimed 2 years later as a great success but it has recently struggled to break even. I have been looking at the ADVFN thread on Ricardo and find, not surprisingly, some hostility towards Mr. Ratcliffe and the manner in which SAG took over Frontier and TPG paying in each case a lower price at the end of the process than at the beginning after much disparagement of its target in between. The approach to Ricardo follows a similar pattern. It looks as if SAG covets only some parts of Ricardo's business and hopes to acquire these on favourable terms which might, perhaps, be available if Ricardo breaks itself up. I do hope that SAG does not attempt to swallow the whole company.

Each way bet here on Ricardo . If it recovers we make a profit on our shareholding , if there’s one more warning SAG will be calling an EGM to kick the board out and we end up engineering another cut price takeover
