Loz,
it is without doubt ( IMHO ) people trying to average down, and thats not necessarily a bad thing.
I don't see any other II getting involved until there is something concrete on the books.

Well a "significant premium" to 6p could be 8p - a bargain compared to the last two placings.

There is a subtle/significant difference between someone "wanting to buy" and someone "needing to sell".

Bermuda, according to the very respected Wildforce and Inanaco anyone wanting to buy a stake in Scancell would have to pay a very significant premium to the current share price whatever that might be. Are you intimating that someone can pick up 5% of the Company without having to pay a premium.

Tosh -
I, *WE ALL* understand.... I think there is 'much frustration' ATM
Having said that, the 'frustration' will increase - if March is allowed to pass without some indication of 'progress'
Leaving just another month of 'cash-burn' to ponder

Tosh,

Would be great but I can just imagine the outrage if the BOD bought 21m shares at 6p - remember the stick John Chiplin got for buying at 10p?

Hopefully the whole fund will be taken on by another company but if they do need to liquidate then the very best scenario is a seamless transfer to a decent ii. IMO of course.

The sooner City Financial give some clarity on their position the better though. It's an added complication if Scancell are considering a funding round within the next few months.

Loz,
i appreciate that, hence the appendix " that was never going to happen ".
My point was that a display of confidence would have countered any damage caused by the City announcement, and that had the BOD of been able to, buying the 21 mill would have been a great move.

Good morning Tosh et al -
I don't think "our BOD { or anyone else } IS in a position to hoover up any or all of those 21 mil+ shares" at the moment, as they are not FOR SALE {at the moment}
Even IF the BOD could afford to do so

ONW
100% back your post.
The idiot should just crawl back under his rock. This, and any other BB, is a far better place without his utter nonsense.
He contributes nothing but childish " self drafted " posts that he then tries to attribute to others, in a vain attempt to hide from his own massive failings.
Ive had enough of the plank... Ive said it many times before, not only is he a menace to any BB, he's also a menace to Scancell itself.
He doesn't listen, he doesn't learn, in fact all he does is lie, lie, and then lie again.
This BB was a great place to be until a few weeks ago, when the single celled idiot decided to try and ply his lies over here as well.
He has ruined the LSE BB, and is now intent on doing the same here.

Great post ONW. Not the first time over the years that there has been a genuine appeal to his human side/reasonable side. One has to wonder if there is one. If only we could find it, the BB would be 1000% better.

Great post Old. No need to apologise.

Nana - You would be respected if the share price was £2 and the risk was zero as you have often alluded. Trouble is, most posters on this board are more ASTUTE when it comes to valuing a Company, its assets and its intellectual property. You have got it 100% wrong, all of the time and for that reason you don't deserve respect.

You do have a knowledge of the science, one has to wonder how that was obtained, I suspect you are not as you seem to be, lets leave the rest to conjecture.

I genuinely wouldn't have it any other way, that's the difference between you and I and most other posters on the Board as to when we post comments. They are there for people to take or leave rather than to be the Gospel.

Bermuda ...

i would rank you quite high in the "understanding mark" ... and you know many shareholders, that from history post .. "i don't understand the heavy stuff"
Even you had gaps missing in your understanding around CD4 ..

so few read these boards and even fewer "get it"

so the share price can be buffered by any one ... and really in low liquidity with only about £20,000 of sells

scancell have explained the delay on two technical fronts

hydrophobic peptides and Ichor ...

I do not see how they can explain further, and indeed as we have discussed some development are kept secret because of patents ...

as they are Legally obliged to inform the market of news that could affect the share price ... why would you assume that the share price fall is because of a lack of information ? or news that could drive it down ... as i have no idea why folks would sell at this level with what is known ...

Your other assets like mine are totally irrelevant except in so much we can afford to lose any equity based investments we have and it won’t chabge our lifestyles.
Whether SCLP has failed any trial or not is again completely irrelevant.Whether you like it or not the only game in town on AIM is making money and the fact that you have lost a lot if money here on paper at least then you should at least be questioning if you understand what you are doing.
Yes the science may at some point in the future be proven to rerate to a profitable level and like you and most others here that is hope for here and elsewhere.
However I have complete sympathy for the “ mosners” who have put their hard earned in here and are at present suffering a lot of distress ATM.
Anyone who does not understand the current frustrations with the BOD and the lack of action is imo in a very small minority and at total odds with the current reality of the share price performance.
Anyway GL to everyone in whatever they invest in
