That article is missing the most common possibility

Retail bring bullish and funds are bearish, using retail bullishness to distribute

Very often, it’s as simple as that

Retail selling into bullish/holding funds does not stall price

Makers are very good at holding ranges for fund distribution. Obviously it suits them because retail buying is their main profit re transactions. So they are happy to have perceived bullish consolidation zones

If funds were bullish into august it would be rising into august due to them not selling into retail bullish liquidity

Etc etc

It’s very very bad consolidation for many reasons

But mostly due to being at the money. Little other reasons motivate them

DREW, it's hard to disagree with you mate.
Shame these trolls can't debate, but I must admit, II is trying.

Institutional Investments, on this post, I agree with you 100%.
Of course, as a LTH, if an anticipated price is achieved sooner than anticipated, then the sell button is presed, CGT considerations taken into account.
20% tax needs some recovery to negate simply doing nothing.
But, it's great to see you actually post intelligent comments rather than a desire for click bait trolling.
Perhaps you could convince your gaggle of trolls i.e Vlad and his mates to equally engage in serious debate.

I think you summarise long term investing

Like most, have a rough target but if it pops to it tomorrow, well, sell faster than an algorithm 😂

Well done Cev. Always best to look at the positive side rather than what was missed

Institutional Investments re Cine I was sat in a bar end of Oct 22 in Phnom Penh and saw Cine spike 184% from my purchase price so it took less than a second to hit the sell button.
A bit early, they went up 254%.
But I was happy.

Motley fool listed an article with this headline Cev

“Should I listen to Warren Buffett and buy Rolls-Royce shares?”

Do you agree with titles like that Cev? Did you see how misleading it was?

If you hadn’t time to read such articles, you would think buffet said buy RR

Are you trying to associate RR with them all Cev? For added troll value?

It’s just that you mention sone investor names, not vested in RR. In fact, not even said anything positive about it

I’m just wondering why it’s ok for them to be mentioned. Are you trolling for them?

Before you invested in RR, did you look into it? I’m just commenting on that phase 😂

1carus, I feel some momentum, but I think the major uplift will come after the results in early August.
I agree with your predicted share price

It looks like some of the 'good news' pipeline, and even some that was not in it, is starting to deliver in real terms, honestly can't see this staying below £2 in the near future. Tufan, has gonna want to see deals coming out of Paris for his own reputation, coming away with nothing would look bad. I bet there is loads in the offing. Less than a week to load up here, could be a life changing opportunity in the next few days.
