Gerbil Control, your comprehension of the word shrewd and mine is obviously completely polarised.
Continue with your mindless rhetoric.

You shouldn’t take it personally . It was only a shrewd observation. Not an attack

Gerbil Control, you have absolutely no idea of the shares in my portfolio, other than Rolls-Royce, which is a superb growth stock over a 2/4 year perspective.
Your constant irrational mutterings are onky equalled by your ludicrous comment, "Ive seen chimps pick better shares", when you've no idea whatsoever as to which shares I've purchased.
Seriously, the likes of yourself, II, Vlad have turned this forum into a juvenile ranting medium
Pathetic.

Since feb this year, 142s rallied about six times. Gets nowhere. Just used for distribution

So that price breaking , I’d want to see markets view circa 111/105. No value 141-111

Wouldn’t expect much tbh , but that’s to be seen

At 140 I'm back in again. It's been a long 2 years, but it's time for a government with a real energy policy.

(MT Newswires) Neste (NESTE.HE) in a Friday release said it teamed up with Rio Tinto (RIO.L) to help the latter's US subsidiary fully transition from fossil diesel to renewable diesel at its mine in Boron, California. The Finland-based biofuel produced Rio Tinto US Borax and Rolls-Royce (RR.L) conducted a trial in 2022 where a haul truck was operated with Neste MY Renewable Diesel. Following the positive results, Rio Tinto decided to switch all its heavy machinery on the site to the environment- friendly fuel at the end of May. Around close of trading, Neste and Rolls-Royce each gained roughly 2% while Rio Tinto's shares were up 4%. Price (GBP): £37.37, Change: £+0.85, Percent Change: +2.33% © MT Newswires 2023

Here's an article about it ( I'm guessing this is it as the original poster could be talking about something else), rather than what KMPG got fined.https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.theguardian.com/business/2017/jan/16/rolls-royce-to-pay-671m-over-bribery-claims

Cevodniya, thanks for classing me as a woke - my family and mates will laugh large at that.
I agree with your concept of self-help rather than the easy approach seeking help from the forum members. However, I'd like to think I would have provided such help without the comments.

You seem to know what you are talking about re. shares/investment etc. However, many people may not be as knowledgeable as you and your input would be far more appreciated if provided in a different style - imo.

MCunliffe1, why are wokes like yourself predominant in society today.
The silent 90% majority are constantly held to account by a vocal 10%.
Can you not simply say it as it is?
If you can search the web for a forum, actually join it and then post a question, surely you could find the answer yourself.
Is that so aggressive a question?
Is stupidity now to be respected?
God help us.

BigT20.
It took me 3 seconds to supply you with the information to your question.
Social media seriously confuses me.
If you are technologically capable of getting an internet connection, join a forum, can you not use the internet for educational purposes?
Seriously mate?

The fact that the share price has been holding strong despite the shadow of a long past scandal resurfacing looks very bullish to me.

It tells you that there has been a big shift in sentiment here.

---> For newbies, could you please explain which past scandal you are referring to?
Thanks.

Great trend for Rolls Royce.

Ryanair said it carried 17 million passengers in May, its highest ever number for a single month. Its previous record was 16.9 million flyers in August 2022.

Meanwhile, Hungarian carrier Wizz Air said just over five million people flew on its planes last month, a 22.1% rise compared with May 2022.
