17/2/2023 13:32 | So what’s the real plan? Do the brothers take over from here ? | kreature
17/2/2023 13:03 | Anyone know what percentage the free-float is ? And is this really just a squeeze-out of minority shareholders? | kreature
17/2/2023 13:00 | Yeah those clay pots must be worth a couple of quid, well spotted. | kreature
17/2/2023 12:05 | To pee or not to pee, that is the question. | glavey
17/2/2023 11:38 | FWIW, Purple Bricks only pretends to be free, whereas Strike really are free. I just sold a property with Strike and didn't pay them a penny. The buyers were persuaded to use Strike Conveyancing (Premier Property Lawyers) and persuaded to take Strike's full survey. So Strike still made good money out of it. If I was to sell again I would definitely choose Strike, but I wouldn't accept an offer if the buyer was going to use Strike Conveyancing (PPL). PPL really are stubbornly slow. They won't process several enquiries in parallel - they'll only work on one at a time, and won't move on to the next until the previous enquiry is completely satisfied. So a simple unmortgaged empty flat sale with no chain either side - took 8 months! It's rather ironic that although Strike saved me the cost of an Estate Agent, their conveyancers delay cost me 3x more than what I saved. | exotic
17/2/2023 11:31 | I've thrown in the towel, can't see any light at the end of the tunnel here. Just seems directors are addicted to the huge salaries and milking it until the millions are gone. The activist investor wanted to kick out the Chairman and appoint the former Chairman of Countrywide and Rightmove. Should have given him a chance! | exotic
17/2/2023 11:28 | There is only one economy and all around the property market...it was good to firm when rates were artificially low and lending was flowing freely...the list of trade sectors that are connected to the property market is endless...you could put any smiley face at the front desk and the property would get sold... | diku
17/2/2023 11:27 | We recognise that our upside potential is not currently reflected in our market valuation, which is why the entire Board has therefore concluded that a strategic review is now in the best interests of all shareholders. Spot the deliberate mistake. | glavey
17/2/2023 11:24 | Assets meaning...all those pots they made in the adverts!... | diku
17/2/2023 11:13 | ‘ The outcome of the Strategic Review may or may not result in a sale of the Company or some or all of the Group's business and assets.’ What assets ? Intangibles ? | kreature
17/2/2023 10:59 | So, are we looking at bankruptcy number two ? How much cash remains ? Will the finals be unqualified ? | kreature
17/2/2023 10:31 | ‘ The outcome of the Strategic Review may or may not result in a sale of the Company or some or all of the Group's business and assets.’ Translation: we may or may not be completely clueless | kreature
17/2/2023 10:11 | ‘ EBITDA loss of between GBP15 million and GBP20 million ‘ . . . - - - . . . How much cash remains though ? If any | kreature
17/2/2023 10:05 | ‘ Implementation has taken place but it has involved more disruption to the sales field than originally envisaged’ ‘ The Company is not in talks with any potential offeror and is not in receipt of any approach with regard to a possible offer’ ‘ The Board recognise that the potential of the Group may be better realised under an alternative ownership structure, and has, therefore, decided to conduct a strategic review of the Group's business’ Translation imo : dot dot dot dash dash dash dot dot dot | kreature
17/2/2023 09:28 | This should of been a company that could be a disrupter - There have been quite a few complaints of its services and potentially quite a lot of them - Maybe someone can look @ the business and turn it around - ? Lets ee - | tomboyb
17/2/2023 09:25 | I used PB. Absolutely incompetent. | ch4p_85
17/2/2023 08:43 | Maybe someone should open an online portal for desperate companies to sell themselves. How about “Purpledogs | wiganer
17/2/2023 08:11 | No but a possible sale on now who can execute a better plan - | tomboyb
17/2/2023 08:00 | Still does not sound like they have a proper plan to execute. | podium
15/2/2023 14:39 | Not sure how the reviews can be verified as true, that be why. Certainly imv many of the positive reviews are questionable. How can one make informed choices on potentially misleading possibly fake reviews ? | kreature
15/2/2023 14:30 | Why would you want negative reviews taken down, you might unfortunately be a customer at some point and make an informed decision. | agentlets
15/2/2023 11:32 | Can’t the negative reviews be removed from TP somehow? Like this one today….. ‘ Awful experience! The worst customer service! They lie about what the terms of their contract actually means! Even if you don’t sell you will have to pay their fees! Use a reputable local agent and save yourself threats, lies and stress!’ | kreature
15/2/2023 11:24 | Instructions down to around 500 p/w ? Last year around 750 p/w ? Not sure if the fees have been put up yet ? At least the resident doomster isn’t posting which is huge relief as possibly a turning point ? | kreature
11/2/2023 03:58 | 532 last 7 days…….m | kreature |
