The thing is, no one at all has got any money (present company excluded), there’s surely no gap in the market for a mortgage broker….and in this climate it’s prob just wages down the toilet? More “ballast”;, not funny any more at 2m p/m……..And looks like they’ve partnered with lusthome which is confusing if you don’t know what lusthome is

Anyway, who’s to say that PB Financial Services isn’t just a re-brand of existing services offered by Mortgage Advice Bureau ?

Can someone confirm? And is it ‘whole of the market’ ?

Seems a total waste of time starting up a new broker service when surely there’s no gap in the market for just another broker ?

What is even worse now they have recruited a small army of mortgage advisers Its yet to appear on their website and the chatline are still suggesting you contact the Mortgage Advice Bureau.

So they are all dressed up and the enquiries are being headed off at the gate.You couldnt make it up . They are just inept

Their chatline has been out of operation for the last 3 days. The entire front of house closed down unless you want to wait 20 minutes for the phone to get answered

They are totally inept

Unfortuantely Marston hasn't got a clue .Her comment about not relying on the day job of taking instructions means she doesn't understand the business

You really couldn't make it up as if some ancillary revenue from mortgages and conveyancing is going to stem the £1m + monthly losses

Conveyancig income has shrunk when the rest of the estate agency world was busy
Lettings is a comnplete and utter disater

Holding back £5m for further compliance breaches there Total revenue from lettings has clifffallen from £3m to £2m
They are just making a huge loss with zero chance of recovery

Yeah, in-line with expectations. I guess that's the great thing about buying low expectations :)

Market cap equivalent to net cash albeit burn rate will bring that down. Happy to hold and buy on weakness and just give this dog a bit of time before it *potentially* starts barking again. Nothing to do for the foreseeable future except sit it out and wait. GLTA.
