30/1/2023 18:47 | It is a good review for Hamptons because the buyer was ready to exchange...but don't have details about their property's buyer and the chain involved...Stuart is only interested in his commission selling the property lock stock and barrel... | ![]() diku
30/1/2023 18:37 | Actually that last review was for Hamptons. Reviewer was buying a property through Hamptons and selling one through PB | ![]() kreature
30/1/2023 18:29 | Of course Stuart wanted to secure his commission hence going above and beyond......he is not interested in dealing with your property buyer...but not sure where Purple bricks comes into play...were they selling their property through Purple bricks?...it depends upon how sale able their property was and the buyer involved if understood correctly... | ![]() diku
30/1/2023 17:21 | A nice positive review just in… oh hang on……. ——- Excellent agents We bought a house that was being sold through Hamptons in Marlow. They were fantastic agents, Stuart was a brilliant support and really helped facilitate the purchase. He went above and beyond to keep the sale and the chain in place, particularly when our own agents (Purple Bricks) did nothing to help. Would definitely recommend. —— | ![]() kreature
30/1/2023 16:40 | Bit difficult to fake 700 listings per week surely? I guess some are returns from marketing breaks ? The undercover boss on here estimated 12% from memory? | ![]() kreature
30/1/2023 16:10 | Think some of the property listings on the property portals are there for publicity stunt...you call the agent and they will say it is sold...so what is it still doing there being listed...and I don't mean those that are going through STC... | ![]() diku
30/1/2023 15:28 | I doubt very much doubt they have anywhere near that kind of inventory. No way should they be getting involved in lettings, too much legislation to fall foul off, so its no wonder they are getting sued for the deposit debacle. | agentlets
30/1/2023 09:38 | Landlord having to give an agent 3 months notice is bad enough. Which reminds me. But an added £600 to escape? O/T Here’s another in news…Hmmm ‘recent listings’ Sept 2022 ? Hmmm ‘ 20,000 registered landlords, more than 1,500 rental properties under management’, I doubt it somehow. so 25 staff managing 1500 properties ? 60 properties each ? Hmmm | ![]() kreature
30/1/2023 09:13 | Some estate agents are now charging buyers fee... | ![]() diku
30/1/2023 09:11 | 12% is pretty standard for a one off property. We’ve never charged an exit fee, I don’t see the point especially after being in a 5 year relationship with a customer. Charging £600 to get trashed in reviews. PB, voice of the people. | agentlets
29/1/2023 20:52 | Would someone deal with this complaint on TP? 12% seems very high to me. 8% plus the VAT is enough surely? And £600 to exit a contract? That’s shameful PB, utterly shameful, imo ——- PurpleBricks Lettings - now just as expensive as high st agents! This is feedback on PurpleBricks as a lettings agent.. they've been our agents for a rental property for almost 5 years. Service over this time has been pretty average: - Turnover of property managers has been horrendous and they clearly have an issue with staff turnover - When we need repairs/maintenance it takes forever to get someone in, obtain quotes etc - Issues get passed from person to person so we never speak to the same person - Invoicing traceability has gotten worse over the period (how is our 'repair fund' used and when) - Our contract includes six monthly property inspections but we've only had 1 in 5 years We stuck with them - mainly as they were cheaper than a standard estate agent and due to the hefty £600 contract exit charge! Well no more - we're moving on! The last straw was a phonecall (with 1 month's notice) telling us they're changing the fee structure to a % based one (like high st estate agents) and charging a whopping 12% a month!!! 3x the price for the same below par service? NO thank you! I don't know how you're getting away with changing the T&Cs of our contract.. and telling us that we have to pay the exit fee if we don't accept them.. outrageous! It's been OK for you to breach the T&Cs of our contract (mainly lack of property inspections) with no penalties... and oh we have to give you 2 months notice we want to terminate but you can give us one month to tell us of a signifcant change in fees!? If it didn't cost so much we'd be seeing you in court but I guess that's how you're getting away with it?! —- | ![]() kreature
29/1/2023 11:53 | 11:51am…… ——— As a potential purchaser these guys are dire. Their local rep does not communicate other than to reschedule viewings created in their calendar that are inconvenient to anyone other than herself.if you are considering selling with these people, remember, how they treat the purchaser will ultimately determine when you sell and how much you get. Date of experience: 29 January 2023 ——- | ![]() kreature
28/1/2023 16:43 | PB have replied to the negative reviews now as well so all good. And great to see a positive review from a portals it manager. All helps | ![]() kreature
28/1/2023 13:44 | 6 positive TP reviews in last 24 hours, all responded to by PB. 3 negative TP reviews in last 24 hours. No response to them tho, so far anyway. No response to the last 6 negative reviews actually. Not sure that that would be the best course of action really ? | ![]() kreature
27/1/2023 18:56 | Hmmmmm, I think merging property titles is a job for the Land Registry via the lawyer tbf like. Bound to take time, but merging titles is unnecessary. Both titles can be transferred separately whether Absolute or not, doesn’t matter. Obviously they would have to be transferred separately if one title were Possessary and one were Absolute. So sounds like perhaps unnecessary work was being done ? ——— Lost our buyers because of them! Lost OUR 2nd BUYER because PurpleBricks Solicitors did not merge our property titles in time. We have had the worst experience with the customer service , after care and support! They had one job and it was sitting there for 3 weeks with no action from anyone! Never ever use Purplebricks or even their solicitors that they recommend that are HORRENDOUS | ![]() kreature
27/1/2023 18:51 | Would you (PB) deal with this customer complaint on TP please. Thank you : Check your charges The good points…..websi Check what you are agreeing to ( we didn’t want a board for security reasons but got one put up and we didn’t agree to a video tour but were charged for it) although we were told we agreed to this..5 months trying to get the bill reduced so it can be paid and ongoing still. Items are “ automatically” added to the bill which I found incomprehensible and this was confirmed to me on several occasions and sadly Purple Bricks have taken no responsibility for these charges and the agent we first saw also not admitted his fault. Just check your bill and ensure you have no “ automatic extras” this sadly ended as a complaint when all I wanted to do was pay… | ![]() kreature
27/1/2023 12:55 | Highly believable positive review there. After all the doomsters complaing, here we have…… ‘ Viewing was on time and the agent was nice and patient in his reply to. questions asked’ | ![]() kreature
27/1/2023 11:19 | That’s prob the future, swapping 600 LPE salaries for a £30 per month all accurate ai valuation package. What, you think ai will become less accurate in the future ? | ![]() kreature
27/1/2023 10:55 | Hey, what if the RICS or the Land Registry ever offered a virtual ai based all accurate valuation service ? A range in which an asking price could be chosen, a bit like the blue book value for a car ? Then Perhaps we could close down traditional estate agents altogether? I know my house is worth more than £1 and less than say £1m. Presumably ai can tighten that range, adding in your new kitchen and your high ceilings and your s.facing garden, and your noisy neighbours . | ![]() kreature
27/1/2023 10:47 | Looks like Strike to go with my suggestion of ai valuations only, in south : ‘ EYE understands that Strike also plans to remove face-to-face valuations in the southern region due to high marketing costs and relatively low brand awareness in these areas. The company will rely on virtual valuations instead. ‘ | ![]() kreature
26/1/2023 19:42 | Fair to say that I find many of the positive reviews on TrustPilot questionable. That is my opinion. If you don’t like my opinion, that’s up to you, not bothered. | ![]() kreature
26/1/2023 19:31 | I don’t think Lesley is very happy, or John, or Linda | ![]() kreature

26/1/2023 11:46 | Hmmm, ‘ Hybrid estate agency Strike has confirmed that some staff are being released as it ‘adjusts to the market’.’ Everyone knocking online estate agents. Imagine though if someone like Amazon opened an online Ai based estate agent ? Just a thought Anyway, how much longer will strike last in this climate? Not much longer I hear you say | ![]() kreature
25/1/2023 22:41 | Looks like they have sold 244 houses since Christmas STC. (Zoopla last 30 days…..for sale inc sold minus only for sale) | ![]() kreature |
