18/1/2022 08:50 | Perky last couple of days....no smoke Live casino gone, er, live in Michigan and New Joisey over xmas, just another reason this is attracting some decent justified attention Be interesting to see how this pans out and which bits get split up. sum of parts is huge given decades of experience building up | the white house
13/1/2022 08:20 | Market starting to discount counter bid now. Keep seeing rumours in the press but no actual counter yet. | liam1om

06/1/2022 10:29 | The Times, commentary section, Alistair Osbourne says Takeover Panel has ruled. However, on a reread, the other lead article mentions referral but not any decision.... | the white house
06/1/2022 09:55 | Where did you read of the non-concert party ruling? CD | cambridgedon
06/1/2022 09:00 | Couple of decent articles in the Times this morning. One strongly supports Eddie Jordan's overbid potential coming good the other days it is risky for management to consider. One thing of note is that it mentions SNAI as a 1bn valuation on books. Flutters bid for Sisal of 1.9bn Euro makes SNAI at or above that level to me and it's offload to entain, 888 or ??? at a higher level could well fund Eddies bid which is maybe the delayAristocrat may still reraise to secureNo one still knows what the 3 or 4 HK investors intentions are and it has been ruled they are not working together....Maybe they just think it is still cheap and 800p not out of the QWill finish of higher in my view | the white house
05/1/2022 09:39 | Delay but Talks progressing (which turned out well with TradeTech) Years with nothing and now everyone is heavily interested, except Ladbrokes or Paddy who both use the machines and would find the Italy SNAI network useful. I do wonder if any buyer could offload that retail estate Glass half full | the white house
04/1/2022 16:08 | JKO deadline to make a bid is tomorrow. Leaving it close. | liam1om
24/12/2021 11:36 | What are the odds of the Asian group (Karen Lo etc) blocking the bid and not making a bid themselves? | wfra
24/12/2021 08:22 | Interesting now that Sisal sold by CVC (to Flutter not entain) Scientific Games same day in the US suddenly pulled out of funding the final payment on a promised deal to hold cash in strategic reserve.Their shares were up 10pc A joint deal here for the software and other buyer for SNAI network could be a runnernb the entain offer from MGM popped up New Years Eve last year, so things could get lively in the sector in the next fortnight | the white house
22/12/2021 20:01 | Getting complicated this. Entain are looking at Sisal an Italian co valued at 2bn euros and I would put SNAI as higher value, which makes Playtech sale value now look even cheaper | the white house
22/12/2021 18:48 | Think sum of the parts - Just as likel,y they will join forces with Jordan bid and carve out Asia, especially if Gopher have taken out Finalto and Calinenti stake is being bought out, Basically Playtec being bought up and hived off in parts to realise full value , that could drive up the share price of any bidder. That gives Aristocrats a headache as I suspect that was their plan and now they would be forc3d to pay more to get hands on Playtech | wolfhound1
22/12/2021 11:48 | Anyone else concerned the Asian group now have enough shares to block the current bid? | liam1om
21/12/2021 13:31 | Sky are reporting that the city watchdog has been urged to look into the playtech bidding war.https://news.sky | martl

14/12/2021 17:21 | @john09 - good spot, interesting, SPAC would give a lot of firepower on a bid.... Mark Kleinman @MarkKleinmanSky Exclusive: A US SPAC merger backed by the Spanish language broadcaster Univision may hold the key to a £3bn takeover of Playtech, the London-listed gambling software group, by a consortium led by Eddie Jordan, the former Formula One hxxps://news.sky.com Good read - in a nutsgell 750p a share , bid expected in a couple of days from Mr Jordan and likely Aristocrats might counter GLA | wolfhound1
14/12/2021 16:47 | Mark Kleinmann tweet just now | john09
14/12/2021 10:40 | There must be significant doubt about the Jordan bid else the price would be a lot higher today surely? CD | cambridgedon |
