Thanks for your view. Hopefully correct. Anyway, one thing stands and it's that whoever is acquiring shares is happy to pay a premium above the offer price which is positive.

I read Natixis different, they are a derivatives house so possibly wrote a put option for an ii client(cash settled derivative), then went long stock as a hedge, 8.3 says they have an equal long and short position of 1.5%

As far as I am aware reported shorts are net short position by the owner

Saw this short in today's RNS'. Short could be insurance against a bid failure due to regulatory block. Do you know if the same player has any long positions?

A lot of small holders selling to bigger holders. Thing we need to know is who is accumulating the original bidder or a prospective one.

Any bidder will want to pounce before Aristocrat can build a 25% stake, for all kinds of reasons, so hopefully wont have to wait that long.

With such a long window until the deal is signed off and only 20 percent approvals, I guess there is time for a lot to happen in the meantime. Positive action again today, but will need a lot more volume traded over the next few weeks/months for a counter-bid to succeed.

Intereating article, clearly Aristocrats see the value in the US i-gaming and want access - I wonder will SciGames read it and then ...not so fast buddy, this is my backyard and I just got $6bn to fence it off..

What else are they going to do with $6bn after selling off lottery to focus on i-gaming ?

let's hope so ...GLA.

63.3 million Playtech shares, or 20.7% of the company's total outstanding shares, are the subject of the letters of intent. https://www.finextra.com/blogposting/21168/what-does-the-premium-playtech-acquisition-mean-for-the-igaming-sector

The rumoured bidders in wing are well known to playtech and have a $6bn war chest having just sold their lottery division.

Mr MR. SUEN CHO HUNG, PAUL is buying big. He appears to be listed as a person with significant control over Les Ambassadeurs Club Ltd (Company number 2708889), which runs the Les Ambassadeurs casino in London. Will hold to see what transpires.
