Think this might flush out a bid from the US. That’s why (I think) price is close to offer price.

What are people doing ? Holding or selling ? Do we know when it would complete ? If we hold onto our shares, and takeover happens, when would we receive the 680p in our accounts - which is the offer on the table at the moment. Is it better to sell and bank cash or wait a while for monies to arrive.

Good luck all. Better Monday today. Only have a small holding - about 400 shares, but it all helps.

Deal made me £21k in the space of 1 week . I opened a t20 deal only last week for 8500 shares @ 4.25. Not bad for a weeks work.

Looks a done deal. My average here is 322 - it’s a fairly average size holding for me, will take me into the black this month.

This was trading at 800p less then three years ago. The company is stronger now. Within a year even without a bid, with US market opening up, this would be over bid price. I think 800p should be minimum price.

Don't look a gift horse in the mouth. Take the money and run. In a market as nervy as this one it isn't conduvice to good money management to snub your nose at such an opportunity...

Aristocrat Leisure Limited (ASX: ALL) (“Aristocrat”) today announces the proposed acquisition of 100% of Playtech plc (LSE: PTEC) (“Playtech”) for a cash offer price of 680 pence per share (the “Acquisition”), by way of a scheme of arrangement under the laws of the Isle of Man (“Scheme”). The offer values Playtech’s entire issued and to be issued share capital at approximately £2.1 billion (A$3.9 billion) on a fully diluted basis, and represents a premium of approximately 58% to the last closing price of Playtech on 15 October 2021 of approximately 429 pence.

Can anyone please detail the buy case here as stockopedia have a pe of 19x for next year. Also the unrealised call options, how material could these become. And is play tech likely to be bid for given I presume lots of other players use its tech. Not familiar with the story here at all but like the comments about recent trading and disposal of problem cfd ops.

Good news, launch this month. To be noted a lot of major Euro players have been excluded from this market so a Playtech live casino etc should do very nicely
