The management don’t expect the share price to reflect fundamentals (NAV etc) overnight. I think that’s right. But steadily improving trading results should see a continuing recovery in the share price

It depends on the underlying fundamentals. OPG is a much stronger business than when its share price was much higher, due to reduced indebtedness and hence lower gearing and debt service costs, thereby increasing cost competitiveness. And India, like most countries, has a shortage of power generation capacity to facilitate growth. So in this case, the long term chart is relevant.

I wouldn't take long term charts seriously, look at WAND they had lovely chart over the last 12 months..

NCI India released their coal price indices for January today. Non coking coal prices continued to fall, to a level 40% below last year’s peak. OPG normally updates the market in February for their 9 months trading figures April-December. Maybe they are delaying an RNS so that they can include more upbeat figures for Jan/Feb?

Remember there is little depreciation in the main asset and little to no interest to service. They were flirting with nearly 30 at EBITDA in what we all thought were average years during the teens.

They should be able to make £35-40m of EBIT in a good year actually.

Sticking to my guns on this along with others because if the price of coal keep dropping then OPG could return to making half their market cap in profits and generating a load of cash for dividends too perhaps

Weird how when the other 3 mm's decided to play this stock has spiked 50%, when it was Wins v Cenkos it would go nowhere at 6.2p levels.

Now singer have turned into Wins pushing and pushing and have just jumped to 8.8p bid from 8.5p, have to wait 15 mins to see why using LSE trada data
