Agree, these price drops have only happened in 2023 so the real profits will not be seen until H2 if it continues.

very true, but margins are not great, so we need coal to decrease and remain stable lower

Sounds ok to me considering it will take a while for price drops in coal to filter through.

Yes a very slight improvement from the preceding 3 months.
A stable lower coal price is needed to improve next results.

Maybe we need to aim for H2 to see a decent improvement

The Board meeting is scheduled for now, I believe. Isn't it likely that an announcement on the BSE will be after UK trading hours end, with a corresponding RNS tomorrow 7am?

This is overdue.

TBH we should be seeing 20-50% rises, some of the rubbish that does 100% is staggering and with coal prices continuing to drop this should turn rapidly, what would help is they clear the seller/overhang which seems to be never ending which I do not understand seeing as there cannot be any big sellers left on the books/shareholder list

I think it’s very likely that the next update or set of results comes with extremely positive comments regarding current trading.

I wonder if this buying is the prospect of OPG reversing again from losses into profits and potentially sitting on a very low PER

COAL down to 218 now on the link I use so I'd guess all prices will be tanking now
