I think someone flogged 10K - that and the 6K hit it a bit - nothing of any volume, just wobbly mm's pre results imo.

Yes, you have to laugh - another 1k just gone through. Patience boys - there could be another 50p in this even for short-termers, and as CR says the directors are hardly buying in for a quickie 10% gain are they...

The 1K boredom boys about I see :-)

Roger Lane-Smith (Non Exec) increased his holding from 62K to 88K recently - can't imagine that was a short term punt myself.

And also surely most if not all of those holding MSI in ISAs or PEPs would have sold by now - which might explain the plateauing in the share price earlier in the year. Besides, last time I spoke to them they said not only had no decision been made, but it was just as likely they'd stay on the main list as transfer anyway.

The results look as if they'll be rock solid given the director buying and the outlook. One to tuck away I believe.

The move is obviously substantial enough for so many companies to consider it.

I'd say for any fund that can't hold AIM and does hold MSI there'll be a fund that can hold AIM and will want to take any stock going.

You make your own decission tho - I know I'm not selling this sort of growth on a PE anything under 12, which is about 60% north of where we are imo.

Thanks CR....understand that AIM listing rules are less rigorous than main market, and listing there is cheaper, but how much difference does this really make in financial terms. Also need to consider that many fundies' rules explicity exclude any AIM holdings.

Like the co., still holding, but reviewing position.

Well if they do move to AIM I suspect there's another 2p on the eps next year.

The share price has also nearly doubled since they said that so it hasn't harmed the share price so far it seems.

Personally if there was any selling on an AIM nove I'd be buying - any lower than this and I suspect the forward PE may be startlingly low.

75% of the shares are with major share holders - I suspect these would look such great value that very few would sell on an AIM move, just switch from ISA to standard account or pension - that's what I will be doing if it happens.

Not an issue for me really - just means higher priofits for the company.

The company stated the following in the "Outlook" para above (full year results FY2005).

"The Board is committed to increasing shareholder value. With this in mind we are considering whether the AIM market would provide a more appropriate environment in which to achieve the Group's objectives and whether it would be in the best interests of the Company and its shareholders to transfer to that market. If a decision to move is made, the Board would provide shareholders with 20 business day's notice by way of an announcement."

If the company confirm this move on results day, is there any concern that those P.I.s forced to sell MSI holdings within ISAs will push the price south in the short term - not sure what %age P.I's hold in this form hence unsure as to likelihood.

results in just 13 days if on the same date as last year - going to see the pre-results punters buying soon I suspect.

If they like circa 50%+ growth on a PE of 7 that is :-)

Yet another new high today. With results only a few days away I reckon the market might get a nice surprise given the director buying, share buybacks, news flow and share price movement - and MSI is still only on a historic P/E of 12.1...

Looks like a delayed 40k trade @ 150p (made up of 4 x 10k) acounted for the 6% rise. What's it going to do when the demand really starts?

PS. Sorry, CR, but the header's just TOO long now ;-)

Just a thought - why not update the header post for the moment with the latest results? It's a bit out of date and doesn't give the true impression of that single-digit P/E...

Nice bouncebackability (TM Ian Dowie I believe) - lots of strength being shown pre-interims. MSI will make 15p EPS minimum this year imo, so a price of 175p-180p for a P/E of 12 is the least I hope for this year. Though I'm hoping for a lot more than that...
