What a wonderful share. Cannot remember why I bought them as have held since about 40p but believe it was due to CR passing comment and then I looked at charts. Thanks CR.

Well I've been here before - I'll tell you how it goes:

All the punters sit and watch cos the price isn't rising so there must be stock around. Soon that stock gets taken. punters see a tick up, phone their broker for 3K and get told they have to pay a penny or two premium - they pay it or decline. It then starts ticking up fast, on buys of just 1K and then they all rush. Punters then think 'why didn't I buy when there was stock about'.

I've been there several times in the last year - not today - over the moon to find I could add 7K today, I thought I was going to pay a 10p premum at the open.

I would like to get back in at some point, but preferably via a spreadbet. IG doesn't quote MSI- do any of you know an sbet firm that does?

the 5K hasn't showed yet - the 2K was at the outset and shows.

Rivaldo - just working on my cautious basis and using the diluted eps.

H1 2004 1.1p eps
H2 2004 3.1p eps
H1 2005 4.8p eps
H2 2005 6p eps.

I'd say looking again at it that H2 last year grew 2p over H1 last year. If that's maintained as looks possible we'd have 8p eps in H1 + about another 7% to allow for the share buy backs so 8.5p+ is possible on a diluted basis. That would probably mean 10p in H2 on this momentum giving 18p for this year and probably 22p+ being likely next year. That would be a forward PE of 6 and astonishing growth.

That's trending tho and a possiblity - want to see how we go but it's encouraging that a year ago directors were not buying shares - the price has subsequently trebled and now they are buying. It just make me they never found the stock as a buy a year ago and now they do, what are they expecting :-)

Also what isn't being factored in the the pension surplus. Most engineering companies have huge deficits so these should be rated more highly for the fact that the don't have this burden imo.

What's more the MS Intl Employee Share Ownership Trust and MS International Group Pension Scheme trustee own 20% of the stock - as far as I can see the employees must be getting richer and happier and the pension surplus is probably getting greater with MSI shares rising 200% in a year.

And the company trades at NAV !

seems to be a bit of stock around - someone selling into the FT story I guess.

Took advantage and got 7K in 2 hits - got to buy when it's about imo or you pay a penny premium on 1K when there's none around.

Thx for the FT tip CR, should be another nice week for MSI :o)) I still prefer to use the basic historic EPS of 12.7p, which suggests maybe more than 16p EPS this year given the buybacks and surfeit of good news. But hey, who's complaining?!

OT : better get back in MTT quick, it's still on a very cheap rating, the molybdenum price remains at historically high levels - and it's apparently been tipped today as a easy doubler by Momentum Investor, so there's plenty of leeway.

CR talking of Isreali companies, have you looked at LEAD? Telco solution systems, 3 years of 50% growth share price keeps on rising. I have no holding - yet.

Great news CR, I also took my profits on MTT, sold at the highpoint after the Momentum Investor tip, 27% in a week thanks to you. I put the proceeds on MSI, looking like a very good decision.
