10/10/2005 09:45 | Wiganer I know who you are, you know me as Nosedive on SF | leopold555
10/10/2005 09:32 | Nice morning - not surprised by MSI, deadly cheap imo. Have you lot looked at LBN today? Floating off a subsidiary for more £15-18m, that's more than it's current market cap. Lots more to the business and they say they are ahead for this year. Might be worth a peep. CR | cockneyrebel
10/10/2005 09:26 | Leopold- I wouldn't know you by a different name at another site, would I? (I sometimes have a "nose" for such things). | wiganer

10/10/2005 09:12 | MSI and ITM making my day | leopold555
10/10/2005 09:02 | Yep, and still rising - perhaps to do with the fact that the historic P/E is only 10.5, let alone the single figure forward P/E with all those share buybacks... | rivaldo
10/10/2005 08:45 | Up up and away... | leopold555
09/10/2005 18:41 | the second 35K looks like the source for the director buy imo. Lots more interest now no matter what - can only get more interesting as the results approach imo. CR | cockneyrebel
09/10/2005 17:08 | Thanks xd and Cambium, so for the Interims they can probably deal up to the end of the period ie. 30th October. Last year Interims not published until 23rd November, so still time for more Director buys. I notice there were 2 35k deals in the morining 8 minutes apart, 1 marked as a buy and the other marked as ?, obviously only 1 of them by a Director. There was also a ? trade of 31,929 shares in the afternoon, another buy I think as the share price moved up. | graham_brown1
07/10/2005 22:21 | I'm sitting here with a glass myself... Cheers! | xdavid
07/10/2005 22:16 | I better have another glass, sorry david | cambium
07/10/2005 22:02 | Eh, no, Cambium. If they are issuing interims in November then the close period will not start until end of October, even if this is only 2 weeks away from issue of interims. It is the shorter of the two alternatives which defines the period... From UK Listing Authority Document... Paragraph 3 of appendix... Dealing in close periods 3. A director must not deal in any securities of the listed company during a "close period". A close period is: (a) the period of two months immediately preceding the preliminary announcement of the company's annual results or, if shorter, the period from the relevant financial year end up to and including the time of the announcement; and (b) if the company reports on a half-yearly basis, the period of two months immediately preceding the publication of the half-yearly report in accordance with paragraph 12.49 of the listing rules or, if shorter, the period from the relevant financial period end up to and including the time of such publication; or (c) if the company reports on a quarterly basis, the period of one month immediately preceding the announcement of the quarterly results or, if shorter, the period from the relevant financial period end up to and including the time of the announcement (save that for the final quarter paragraph 3(a) of this code applies). 4. A director must not deal in any securities of the listed company at any time when he is in possession of unpublished price-sensitive information in relation to those securities, or otherwise where clearance to deal is not given under paragraph 7 of this code. | xdavid
07/10/2005 21:38 | Or 8 weeks prior to Nov interims...so anytime nowish!! | cambium
07/10/2005 21:35 | Just double checked and as I understand it, the 'close period' is defined as... EITHER: the period between the accounts period end and results/interims date, OR: the 8 weeks prior to results/interims date if the issue date is greater than 8 weeks away from the period end date. So... MSI year end is 30th April, interim period end is 31st October. They normally issue interims in November so the close period does not actually start until end of this month. | xdavid
07/10/2005 20:48 | Anyone know at what point before interims and finals are Directors not allowed to trade? | graham_brown1
