15/8/2018 19:54 | Hi Yertiz I’m keeping plenty available too. Burford a bit too high at present to top up. | ![]() brexitplus
15/8/2018 19:44 | Nice one B+, still plenty of scope left for Plus 500. I missed out on the low yesterday morninng but happy to hold the shares I have. Markets overall taking a bit of a pasting this week, opportunities to top up all over the place, including Burford. Keeping the rest of my tinder dry until some order returns. | ![]() yertiz
15/8/2018 19:35 | Hi Getting Not Halma yet. PE and PEG are a bit high for me at present. Happily no sign of minny. I bet he’ll be back soon. | ![]() brexitplus
15/8/2018 18:56 | You did well to get in when you did. 7% rise today. The volatility in the markets is good news for Plus500. Good to have some companies that benefit from volatility. Don't want to have all eggs in one basket like old Ryelodge who seems to be becoming more and more negative on his only investment! Did you ever go for Halma in the end? They are now my biggest holding. | ![]() gettingrichslow
15/8/2018 16:45 | Yertiz Glad I got into Plus500 on the fall. Big recovery. Syncona and Burford both going well. | ![]() brexitplus
15/8/2018 15:42 | Of course not forgetting the Model. | ryelodge
15/8/2018 11:44 | £3 by Christmas. Reasons :- Skin in the game. Sentiment. The latest update from Fokker. | meanwhile
13/8/2018 21:09 | Hi Getting It seems any negative aspect of companies, even when the rest is very positive, leads to big drops. I’m happy to be in. | ![]() brexitplus
13/8/2018 20:54 | B+, absolutely frying in Majorca. There seems to be some concern over the churn rate of new clients but with Plus500 now starting to operate in Singapore, Australia and elsewhere I can't see how this can be seen as such a negative? Very odd really. A growth company paying a huge dividend but on a low single digit PE?? Can't think of a similar situation I've ever come across? | ![]() gettingrichslow
13/8/2018 16:53 | ELECTRIC NEWS The Jaguar I-TYPE 2 Formula E race car has set a new electric car course record of 30.46 seconds at the world-famous Shelsley Walsh Hill Climb in Worcestershire. The record attempt – a partnership between GKN Driveline and the Panasonic Jaguar Racing ABB FIA Formula E Championship team – saw New Zealander Mitch Evans pilot the Jaguar I-TYPE 2 on its dynamic debut in the UK on Sunday 12 August, breaking the previous record by 6.84 seconds. GKN Driveline brought Panasonic Jaguar Racing’s car, the Jaguar I-TYPE 2, to Shelsley Walsh to coincide with the 113th anniversary of the very first hill climb at the historic venue. Mitch Evans’ record-setting run up the hill saw one of the most advanced electric vehicles tackling the world’s oldest motorsport venue that still uses its original course. Gordon Day at GKN Innovation Centre, Abingdon, said: “In breaking the electric car course record with the Jaguar I-TYPE 2, we’ve helped to show the incredible potential of pure electric drive to an ever-broader group of enthusiasts. It was a privilege to partner with Panasonic Jaguar Racing on this endeavour, showcasing the I-TYPE 2 in its UK track debut with a suitably thrilling result.” Mitch Evans, Panasonic Jaguar Racing driver, said: “It was a great honour to drive the Jaguar I-TYPE 2 at such a historic venue, and the whole team was elated with the record time we managed to achieve. Formula E fans in the UK were incredibly welcoming, and it was great to see them so excited about the car’s debut run here. I’m proud to have moved the class-best result a step further towards a potential pure electric outright hill record in the future.” Antony Harper, Chairman Midland Automobile Club, said “In 113 years of Shelsley Walsh Hill Climb history, we have never seen a more advanced electric vehicle take to the course, so it was a thrill to see the Jaguar I-TYPE 2 Formula E car charge up the hill and secure a new course record under electric power. We’re proud to have hosted the car’s UK debut, and we certainly welcome GKN Driveline and Panasonic Jaguar Racing back to the course in the years to come to see if they can beat the record again.” The successful record attempt further strengthens GKN Driveline’s historic links with both Shelsley Walsh and Jaguar. GKN Driveline has been a supporter of the hill climb venue for a number of years and many of the vehicles that have claimed records at the site have been driven by its technology. Formula E continues the long-running partnership between GKN Driveline and Jaguar, dating back to 1935 when GKN Driveline supplied driveline technology to the first SS Jaguar saloon, and through to icons such as the Le Mans-winning C-Type in 1951 and the XJ220 supercar of the 1990s. Today, GKN Driveline supplies every Jaguar model on the market with a range of driveline technologies, including high performance CV Joints and intelligent all-wheel drive systems. GKN Driveline is in the first of a multi-year partnership with Panasonic Jaguar Racing, which will see the global engineering group provide design, manufacturing and consultancy services to the British Formula E team. Expertise from across GKN Driveline will provide technical consultancy and new technology, from driveshafts and differentials to the use of additive manufacturing, for the team’s Formula E race car. GKN Driveline’s considerable experience in delivering state-of-the-art electric vehicle systems means it will also advise on the development of the racer’s all-electric powertrain. | ![]() brexitplus
13/8/2018 15:33 | Hope they do reach 7000. Market seems to be treating interims like a semi-profit warning. Am looking to top up. | ![]() brexitplus

13/8/2018 12:37 | Very difficult to interpret those results. Particularly when I'm in and out of swimming pools! The numbers are so dramatically higher than last year, yet the bit about 'in line with market expectations' seems confusing. Is that actually 'in line with the revised revised guidance'?? | ![]() gettingrichslow

13/8/2018 10:39 | You've said it all, B+. Great buying opportunity if you managed to get in around 1760p. I missed the window but am happily sitting on a good amount of shares. Onwards and upwards. | ![]() yertiz
13/8/2018 08:59 | Hi Yertiz Comments on Plus500? I dipped my toe in this morning on the fall. Results excellent. Liberum have raised target to 2800 from 2480. Big dividend. | ![]() brexitplus

09/8/2018 22:26 | Oh bloody hell. A dialogue. Claude and Cecil? Certainly not Morecambe and Wise. Still minerve is so predictable he won’t be able to resist coming back in any of his aliases. Any suggestions on how long before he’s back?? | ![]() brexitplus
09/8/2018 22:24 | Minny, can you confirm if Beetle Juice is also throwing in the towel. Or will he still be on here with all the chimps and morons? 09/8/2018 21:51 | Evening MEANWHILE. You get to the point where the fun ends and their posts become rather a bore. | minerve
09/8/2018 21:42 | Very sensible, Minerve. I’ve had these clowns filtered for a couple of months but have an occasional look to see if there’s been any recovery from their afflictions. Sadly, no sign so far, getting worse if anything, behaving just like a mutual admiration group. | meanwhile
09/8/2018 21:14 | Yertiz, agreed. But I fear we are in for a barrage of Googled quotes and song lyrics. | ![]() brexitplus |
