Minny, my day at work was good thanks. Was in London today. Coffee at Monmouth in Borough Market. A few beers at lunchtime with my boss and a few graduates we've just recruited (not from polytechnics obviously). The graduates were hilarious. One of them was excited to be on our £31k starting salary and thought she'd hit the big time! York tomorrow. Then working from home on Wednesday. It's hard out here Minny, I mean tough, real tough!

At least we can all agree on one thing - we'll soon be getting out of the EU and will become a great, independent trading nation once again. Roll on 30 March!

"beef casserole and herb dumplings, baked potatoes and Spring greens filled by apple and blackberry crumble and custard"

Now that's a combination you don't see every day .........

jackdaw4243 is a recent entrant to this board. After a short period of study, I sense in him a potential recruit to the Cotswold Sage's little band of stooges.

The Sage may already have considered cultivating him, with, for example, talk of roast beef dinners, what weight in kilos of meat eaten, the accompanying gravy and a suitable French wine.
With getting, the talk could be of the huge cost of meals taken, at somebody else's expense, or perhaps getting could advise him of the mathematics around Rights Issues and how to gain maximum benefit from these.
This leaves yertiz as the last current member. Perhaps they could mull over how to spend those long winter nights out at sea, how to take a flagon of grog or by relating the time they were breached amidships.

"You discredited yourself a long time ago!!"

Well, if that's the case then cheese brain I take it there will be no need for you to continue with your slander against polytechnics. ;)

What a cripple brain getting is.

How was your day at work chimp? LOL

From My Broker

Great quote on Bloomberg:

“The true colour of today’s market is the hue of the pompadour atop the head of President Donald Trump.. This has become Trump’s Stock Market….. the bull market rally was reasonably called the Trump Bump. The decline.. since the start of December, is the Trump Slump.”

Jackdaw

Sounds good. This will be our first trip to Sardinia although we have holidayed in Corsica on 7 occasions. We stayed in a villa overlooking Porto Vecchio, where every evening we sat in the sun with our G&Ts watching yachts returning to port. Lovely sight.
