DAK the high (x-ref charts above) in 1Q23? Per Yahoo/chart/daily - seems to be around 54.33. That is only circa 1p away.

Breaching that would clear the way back to the previous highs of Feb-2020.

Quite a bit of corporate actions in the banking sector atm. Inflation expected to fall over the coming months. All takeovers affect the rest in the sector. I'd say 65 is easily possible here within a few months due to those factors. Not forgetting the divi too. And yes, because I believe that, I've bought a lot recently, so I'm now biased.

Cancel culture, Shriver believes, "is getting worse... there's nothing moderate about it. It's aggressive, hostile, angry, deliberately disruptive, vengeful, perhaps vengeful above all... it's about hunting people's careers for sport." The goal, she says, "is to utterly destroy you. And that is the appeal of this stuff – that satisfaction of destroying other people's lives. And also, in doing so, you don't have to take any responsibility for being a destructive force. You are the force of righteousness."...Lionel Shriver ....Daily Telegraph

What is holding this back

My old fangled machinations tell me this should be at 64 level

Barclays and Nat West keeping up their end

Lesson here is stick to what you know and let the car finance deals and the like take care of themselves.

Looking to buy a car at moment but dealers asking stupid prices

I ll soldier on in the rustbucket for the time being

optimistic......I never used to have that in my post so dropped it as it is information that anyone can access from the Transaction in Own Shares RNS issued daily, as you have done. I will just focus my posts as before on cumulative totals, average share price to date, and percentage of £2B buyback complete so others can see the progress made. It is the same as I do on the LSE Lloyds BB.🙂

Quick Google search - Stockopedia:

On a stock chart, the Golden Cross occurs when the 50-day Moving Average crosses over the 200-day Moving Average. Some investors may use this as a buy signal, in the belief that a significant uptrend will continue.
