Yep, looking very good :-)

Wasn't able to buy this month:
End of month - yes
Funds available - Yes
40-50p - No

Took a few profits last week to start new VERY RISKY SPCE Virgin Galactic. Space Planes a lot more fun (volatile) than banks ...lol!! so building both positions further this year.My buy range for Lloy for end April moved to 45-55p post ex-div on dips.

Good luck all - fingers crossed for break above 54p towards 65p av target.
SPCE buys 1.00 - 1.30 to 2025. Huge DYOR on this tho!

Off course the price will be blue. Probably just below intra day highs (as is normally the case).

drectly.... my thoughts today as well. But having bought and got trapped in investing in UK 'blue chip' companies over the last decade or so there is soon coming a point where I will take my money out. These should be back at 70p+. And last time they were there I thought they would be heading towards a quid. Rishi will have to offer me way more to than 5k in ISA to invest in UK stocks especially when the next labour government will find any reason to windfall tax, quantative easing methods funded by the banks, bringing things back into public ownership etc. It will be gambling to have anything invested in anything that is potentially profitable here in the UK.

My break even is 54.2, so after many years with a significant paper loss and the divi at a lower level than when I bought, patience or not admitting I got it wrong looks like it will pay off. ? then to get out while the going good, or stay for what might be a further rise and ongoing good divi increases.

SP pathetically still not back to pre Covid levels yet. Be moderately exciting if it rises (and stays) above 60p. Long term expectation is still mid 70's by the end of the decade. Be happy with that (if the world is still in 1 piece).

DAK the high (x-ref charts above) in 1Q23? Per Yahoo/chart/daily - seems to be around 54.33. That is only circa 1p away.

Breaching that would clear the way back to the previous highs of Feb-2020.

Quite a bit of corporate actions in the banking sector atm. Inflation expected to fall over the coming months. All takeovers affect the rest in the sector. I'd say 65 is easily possible here within a few months due to those factors. Not forgetting the divi too. And yes, because I believe that, I've bought a lot recently, so I'm now biased.
