Hardup. There's still 3M outstanding applications! That's the populations of Birmingham Manchester Liverpool & Bradford combined. The Tory cabinet should be gang raped by 10,000 illegal immigrants.

Possibility of total Tory implosion. The only future for the Tories was to let Vote Leave transform them into a new party 2020-24. The Party would now be unrecognisable: CCHQ closed and the party re-opened in the midlands with the rancid old guard 'retired', the economy would be extremely different and millions of swing voters would have vanished from the 40% tax rate (pushed up to 100k), MP pay and nurses pay would be linked to the growth/fall of average wages ('if the voters get a pay cut the MPs get a pay cut'), term limits for MPs, the government would be years into a national project to rebuild the NHS, it would be far more 'on the right' on violent crime/borders etc than the median Tory MP, we'd have left the ECHR amid widespread applause that shattered Labour and stopped the ludicrous farce of a major country paralysed in handling a few dinghies, the trans madness and other manifestations of the Left's Gadarene-psychosis would have been crushed, the broken Northcote-Trevelyan model of a closed-caste civil service recruiting only from within (and optimising for *preserve bureaucratic power/budgets* over *productive adaptation*) would have been pried open to recruit the best people in the world, we'd be very popular with ex-Labour voters, we'd be about to crush Starmer and the SW1 debate would be about a startup party replacing Labour. Instead they broke their deal with us and tried to operate as if it's ~1999 and 2016 never happened. The collapse in quality of MPs, their delusions about politics and communication, their total obsession with the deranged 'news' and punditry of the disintegrating old media instead of how power works - all this guaranteed their own disintegration. Sunak thought about reviving the deal but decided to double-down on trusting the Establishment and the 'strategy' of the most Insider-pundit in SW1 to focus on week-to-week party management - a 'strategy' that doomed him to fail with the public then an inevitable collapse of authority with the MPs/Whitehall. 2025-9 the old Tory Party will probably be replaced. Who by?...Dominic Cummings

The thing is for lads from Nottingham and Bradford its easy for London to make an impression - the bars set pretty low sorta thing. But it has to be really something to impress folk used to Oldham culture.

Hyde park, St James Park, Kew Gardens, Circular walk round business centre, Hampton court good, Soho and China town, great places to eat (if you know) And you NEVER drive around London, they have a thing called 'the tube'. See a good show, have a walk past No10 and houses of Parliament.

I love it, but just for a visit, would not want to live there.

Ffs Gekz, you're such a snob! Nowt wrong with Shoreditch, the blues kitchen is a cracking night + lots of good independent pubs . Bricklane could be good but the Bangladeshis don't understand the concept of symbiosis and have 400 restaurants but one decent pub / bottleshop 'kill the cat'. Tower Hamlets down the road is just depressing.

HEZBOLLAH SHELLS TWO SETTLEMENTS, ARMY HEADQUARTERS IN NORTHERN ISRAEL (VIDEOS)

Support SouthFront

On March 28, Hezbollah announced that it had shelled the northern Israeli settlements of Shlomi and Goren with artillery and rockets.

The attack was carried out in support of the Palestinian people and resistance in the Gaza Strip, the group said in a statement, adding that the attack was also a response to recent Israeli airstrikes on southern Lebanon, particularly two airstrikes that targeted the towns of Naqura and Tair Harfa a day earlier. The airstrikes in question killed eight people, including four Hezbollah fighters.

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed that at least ten rockets were fired from Lebanon at Shlomi. Nine of the rockets were intercepted by the Iron Dome air defense system, according to the IDF. Rocket sirens also sounded in Goren. However, there are no reports of injuries or damage in either settlement.

Hezbollah announced later in a separate statement that its fighters shelled a newly-established headquarters of the IDF’s Liman Brigade with artillery and said that the attack was carried out in response to the Israeli war on Gaza.

Later, the IDF said that interceptor missiles fired from the northern area of Safed successfully downed a “suspicious aerial target” heading toward Israel from Lebanon. The target, possibly a drone, did not enter Israeli airspace, according to initial IDF assessments.

Since the outbreak of the Israeli war on Gaza last October, Hezbollah began launching near-daily attacks against the IDF in support of the Hamas Movement and other Palestinian armed factions in the Strip.

The border clashes have so far resulted in eight civilian deaths on the Israeli side, as well as the deaths of at least ten IDF soldiers and reservists. On the Lebanese side, more than 300 people have been killed, including 239 fighters of Hezbollah and at least 60 civilians.

So bt back 519m c12% of bb, list 75m just before divi is due when typically shares rise....then likely post- div drop for a while like last yr from 54p.

Looks like we'll be dithering around 45-55p for a while but I guess share price up 18% this year so not bad.
