Do you think ALL EU citizens should be allowed to move here and ALL ones that are already here, should be allowed to stay without any checks whatsoever?

The UK government has reached an agreement with the EU that will protect the rights of EU citizens and their family members living in the UK.

These agreements mean that most citizens from the EU, Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Switzerland will need to apply to stay in the UK. They can then continue living their lives here as they do now.

No problem with EU citizens staying, project fear from the remainers again.

Fundamentally Brexits a question of religious sectarianism, Protestants against the Catholics & goes back to the early 1500's do remainers really think they can turn back time? (JRM being the exception that proves the rule).

Sea WarriorPosted December 18, 2019 at 9:16 am | PermalinkWe need to:(a) Ban universities from making unconditional offers.(b) Restrict loans to students wanting to take a poor degree at a poor university.(c) Preserve free speech on campuses.(d) Increase the number of places on STEM courses and lower the number of places on Arts courses. (It's difficult to work Cultural Marxism into a Maths course.)(e) Stop the moves to make a degree necessary for a whole raft of jobs. The idea that coppers should need a degree was lunacy of the first order from the May government.(f) Encourage students to attend local universities.

GUY VERHOFSTADT threatened Boris Johnson with denying the UK its Brexit January 31 deadline as he urged MEPs to vote against the withdrawal agreement unless the Prime Minister gives EU citizens full rights to remain in the UK.

No problem for us.

All this rather pathetic threat does is show that we have plenty of cards to play in the negotiations.

gnr - when will YOU ever learn. You are an ancient pensioner living somewhere in darkest UK. There are others who may have their families split over this point.

You put an '!' as amusing.
