19/12/2019 01:09 | Politics are not private or a family business, it's a public job. They get paid salaries from our taxes. Corruption start when politicians using politics as a private and family business for personal gains. The general retirement age is currently set to age 67 so politicians must too. No party politics, No more mummies, No more vampires or zombies... | k38
19/12/2019 00:09 | Corrupt politicians don't know when to give up unless the voters speak loud. Some of them are sent home others are given a second chance.. will they learn? In my opinion corrupt politicians never learn!Thesame scenario across the pond, democracy in oxygen ..!! | k38
18/12/2019 22:09 | Cheshire If the banking scenario wasn't worse than 2008... not be still running rates as are and qe. And even more regs.. it's one dirty wheel and they have no idea how to get off it 2008 was an extreme example. But tend to find in normal markets, consistently dropping prices are for a reason... and div gets hit first to try appease market. Always the common shareholder pays first..rule 1 lol I don't believe the reintroduction and programme of dividend is truly meant to be forever. It's just to get some support in a badly performing price. .at a cost. I think 2008 will be easily eclipsed, if they can't figure it out. No solution in a decade to date At some point, the market gets scared. And pulls the plug Can't blame them. Nearly every bank globally and central banks were reassuring investors right up to the implosion day It's their job to lie . Not tell the truth. Lol Give me no statement any day over 'everything ok' | sentimentrules
18/12/2019 22:05 | Do the opposite of the views above and you are likely to do well. ;) | alphorn
18/12/2019 21:37 | What will happen is that the SNP will be finished very soon...when the Scots see the economic implications of the mad trossach and her loopy plans. All of those brilliant Scots engineers and economists must be turning in their graves now. | mr.elbee
18/12/2019 21:31 | If they dislike us that much. The sooner they get independence the better. | freddie01
18/12/2019 21:31 | Mitchy,There is not one..not one...common currency that has succeeded which has been created by fiat. The successful US dollar emerged organically by the economic "votes" of US consumers just after the Civil War.. the currency was CHOSEN by the US electorate the same way ciggies and drugs are the currency of choice in prison. To get a forced currency before fiscal union was insane..but then they are imperialists running the show and most of them are usually not too bright. Dr Doom today writes that the fragrant Nicola is totally stuffed and that the Union cannot break up.It would cost the Scots at least ten years of terrible austerity...I think that when this dawns on the otherwise clever and creative Scots they will ditch her stupid Sean Connery rantings about Kilts and Culloden and the famous one legged haggis. This is a real positive for our bank[HBOS] | mr.elbee
18/12/2019 21:30 | SNP MP sparks fury as he is spotted crossing his fingers while swearing loyalty to Queen SNP MP Steven Bonnar sparked a furious reaction online after being spotted crossing his fingers during the swearing-in ceremony in the House of Commons. One user wrote on Twitter: "Just a simple question @StevenBonnarSNP what possessed you to cross your fingers whilst affirming your lawful oath to serve @theSNP and members of your Constituency? "We need this to be addressed with a public statement." Another said: "Steven Bonnar is an embarrassment to himself, his party and more importantly, his country. "No doubt he felt like a really big boy with his moronic finger-crossing stunt. Everyone else just saw a cupid stunt." One viewer wrote on the social media platform: "@NicolaSturgeon if Steven Bonnar can’t swear into Parliament properly then perhaps he should not be there. "At the very least he should grow up! If he can’t swear allegiance to the crown, then don’t be a UK MP!" Another added: "What an embarrassing child Steven Bonnar is. Get back over Hadrians Wall. No place in Westminster for childish gestures like that. #Parliament." | freddie01
18/12/2019 21:29 | Getting out just in time. | cheshire pete
18/12/2019 21:29 | So how does all this malarky play out for lloy? The 'no deal' scenario is well over played in my opinion. So I'm expecting more 'adjustment' .Hope I'm wrong.Good Luck. | mitchy
18/12/2019 21:22 | Yes it's like watching a car crash in slow motion. The euro is under heavy pressure not just because of the German economy but because the UK is seen as the first rat to leave a sinking ship. The EU have made so many expensive mistakes and the process of trying to unify different speed economies was doomed from the start. If only the EEC had just stayed with the original concept of free trade etc and not tried to integrate all the ex communist and pigs under one flag. | mitchy
18/12/2019 21:15 | lol this bb good advert for 'diversity', where else could you get simultaneous discussions on the state of banking and warpaint. | cheshire pete
18/12/2019 21:10 | SR appreciate your point but is the situation with the banks anywhere near as bad as in 2008? Carney came out with some reassuring comments recently, which suggests not BWTFDIK. | cheshire pete
18/12/2019 21:06 | I dont deny the point about warpaint but the English women have been known for centuries to be a funny shape with bad hair ,legs and skin ,and the politicos dont exactly enhance their essential lack of attractiveness. Too fat and badly dressed ,also is the main problem which does not happen with politicos in the States. Anyway I am fed up with this. It is the bleedin' obvious again. | mr.elbee
18/12/2019 21:03 | Mitchy,Germany's economy is in recession ,and finished for at least ten years. This is the view of mainstream economists.Since Germany drives the EU economy..the EU is also doomed to "Japanisation" i.e 10 or more years of permanent slump.Italy has had twenty already, so I suppose a few more wont matter. And then the woman running the ECB is a loop de loop corrupt lawyer with zero business or economics background..a really bright appointment that was!. Merkel who held it all together is off.. so there will be no political agreement ..essential for the equally essential fiscal union,if the euro is to survive. So the Euro wont survive..the Euro area will be in permanent recession but we will be free doing deals round the world. The timing is perfect for us..bad for the EU Commission.. But that's life. The boot is clearly on the other foot now. | mr.elbee
18/12/2019 20:57 | Beauty's only skin deep.. American wimmin know the way around the warpaint department. | maxk

18/12/2019 20:51 | They still gamble Can only imagine what most books are like. .. highly creative.. a few caught out.. subprime again ..just different packages and names. High risk Most will laugh given current regs but I think..high risk value market ... with little reward in capital value . Untouchable bar trades | sentimentrules
18/12/2019 20:48 | It'a not impressing markets. That's all we need to know. . Market has its reasons... whatever they are. .hard to beat market lol | sentimentrules |
