Minerve, I'm sure that if your daughter is half as clever as you she'll have no problem finding work wherever she wants.

BTW can you be sure the Shelter figures have been rigorously audited and therefore correct?

Market report: Stress tests distress Lloyds investors

There was a fall of nearly 6pc for Lloyds Banking Group on Tuesday after the results of stress tests raised concerns over its ability to deliver on share buyback plans next year.

All of the UK’s major banks passed annual tests by the Bank of England on Monday. The exercise is designed to ensure banks will be able to continue lending to businesses and consumers in the event of a series of hypothetical scenarios, including a sharp economic downturn and major payouts for misconduct.

Despite the clean bill of health, investors were spooked by Lloyds’ “disappointing” results. Analysts at Citi said the figures “could have repercussions on Lloyds target capital ratio and thus buybacks”.

2015 to 2016 with Brexit success of 52.5% of the vote the pound hit the highest of 1.40
.
With remainers hijacking Brexit they bring the pound to it's knees, August 2018 to 1.050 low.
.
Election time and with Boris expectations to win the pound started to rise and today stand up to 1.20 thanks to Boris and his strong position on Brexit.
.
We know the pound goes up and down like the shares but today's low from 1.20 to 1.18 BBC blame Boris for .. taking political risks with Europe.

BBC just can't resist.. time for privatisation!!

OUTSIDE SOURCE &..
"The pound fall because Boris is "preparing to take political risks"

eurofox: 741M today c.f. 707M on 13th. That rate of churn demonstrates how this share has been traded of late. Combined Boris/ Brexit relief rally , partly fuelled by MMs , to be followed by extensive profit taking , Stress Test issues and now the spectre of a Trade No-Deal Brexit. Beginning to look like a shorters paradise ...again!

That's perfect, Diku. Couldn't be better for enabling the second term. Someone with the stain of Blair and with impeccable Marxist credentials enriched by charitable work to the tune of £680k p.a..

Think Corbyn wants to see the drama unfold of Jan 31 2020 Brexit deadline hence not stepping down...doubt he will go quietly...he wants to give his peace of mind to Bojo and those anti labour supporters...what must be hurting Corbyn is Bojo only been PM for a short time and he wins the general election with a big majority...

Thought Boris handled the hysterical labour women MPs very well when they kicked off shortly before the recess. Whoever they come up with shouldn't be a problem for him.
