19/12/2019 17:57 | You need to go to spec savers, Bob.A National Statistics Publication for Scotland.Scotland's net fiscal balance has improved for the third year in a row, according to statistics announced today by Scotland's Chief Statistician.Net Fiscal Balance 2018-19This is the difference between total revenue and total public sector expenditure including capital investment. 19/12/2019 17:27 | Ofcourse it does Bobster, it's amazing what a country can achieve when as many as 10% of the population are net contributors to the public purse. | utrickytrees
19/12/2019 17:27 | Oil will be screwed in a few years. North Sea not exactly raking it in anyway. Bet Boris even wants a Scottish ref by then. | sentimentrules
19/12/2019 17:23 | Utricky Just to get things clear . Scotland runs a balanced budget. It is the part that is run by Westminister that is in deficit. Ie all civil servants in London , Scotlands pays , all infrastructure in England Scotland pays , Trident Scotland pays etc . | bargainbob
19/12/2019 17:07 | Anyway, no need to argue here... The Scottish debate is in "good hands"Lovely Laura (BBC) is against an independent Scotland.Lol... | k38
19/12/2019 17:06 | Like the Clinton's running down the states when they've moved their money into China Crankie will be shorting the UK. Its not even Scotlands oil,it belongs to the 66.4 M people of the UK, They can have 8% of basesd on population figures. If they want their overdraft scratching we'll have the lot and they'll have to give us all the gas fracking rights as well. | utrickytrees
19/12/2019 17:01 | mm2 You and that sturgeon woman are making the logical error of taking out a set of voters from a bigger set of voters and assume the smaller set would have voted the same way in a smaller set vote than it did in the bigger set vote. It's the sort of illogical nonsense politicians use for their own ends, disingenuously. For example, some scots may vote differently in a scottish in/out eu vote than a uk in/out eu vote. (That's obvious isn't it?) | pierre oreilly
19/12/2019 16:54 | and ageing before our very eyes...have a close look at the photos. That is exactly what happens when you lie and destroy your soul.Hilary is another one..and Bill. | mr.elbee
19/12/2019 16:53 | Nikola Sturgeon, if she is a honest politician, must go to Brussels and ask under what economic and other conditions and how long they will have to wait before been accepted as a new member of EU... then comeback and tell the 45% Scottish people which they vote for them the truth. Brussels does not care about Scotland.. Brussels wants a deal with the UK as a union. Scotland, economically means nothing to Brussels, only expenses... | k38
19/12/2019 16:47 | let the stupid scrotes go a twenty year recession is what they will get. | mr.elbee
19/12/2019 16:44 | Pierre, you have to understand i'm a thick chimp, not very good with words, but you do know what i mean, or should do. | mikemichael2
19/12/2019 16:39 | Ladeside your a fkin turnip. | utrickytrees
19/12/2019 16:39 | ps, once again Pro Europe...Anti German led Super state. | mitchy
19/12/2019 16:38 | Why don't you understand that scotland hasn't had a vote on eu membership? Why don't you understand 'she does not accept the uk vote' is meaningless? They are just very simple facts. | pierre oreilly
19/12/2019 16:37 | Tbf, I do support another referendum on the grounds that Metropolitan Cameron gave assurances that Scotland would remain in the EU if they voted to remain in the Union. However, I think Crankie should get assurances from the EU that Scotland would be allowed entry when their finances are so appalling & well wide of the perimeters expected from Brussels. I think they're even worse than Turkeys which would set an unlikely president! Scotlands only option imo is to get their finances in order to meet EU guidelines then ask the question of the electorate. After all the UK's austerity programme post 2008 was necessary to do just that, something which is lost on Scotland who have continued to spend money like confetti and slag off their benefactors to boot. NOT ACCEPTABLE! | utrickytrees
19/12/2019 16:34 | What you talking about Pierre, that's wee jimmy's angle, that Scotland voted to stay in!!! She does not accept the UK vote to leave for Scotland. What don't you understand about that? | mikemichael2
19/12/2019 16:30 | Hee, Hee, Hee, taking it well tricky my old son............... | ladeside
19/12/2019 16:26 | 'They don;t recognise the uk vote' ffs, what does that mean? It's like me saying 'I don't recognise the uk speed limit' when caught speeding. It's just a nonsense collection of words with no pragmatic meaning. | pierre oreilly
19/12/2019 16:25 | Don't forget the European Q was not for Scotland.. it was a UK IN or OUT referendum. It's just happens to be on the losers site. | k38 |
