This looks like a classic recovery play to me strong order book and significant chance to re-rate. Took a few earlier today this is close to placing price and hasn't reflected the recent orders news.

Ah, so waiting from the evidence based results from the scientific nhs lab makes me not worthy of being invested in Kromek? (See lse board). If I don’t have blind belief in the CEOs word I’m a disbeliever. The CEO who’s constantly being a bit loose with the truth - see skid35s various essays on this, should be believed unconditionally. My jumping up and down regarding the CEO not releasing results of the detector in “the coming days” like he said he would, isn’t warranted... because he didn’t really mean it, shouldn’t take these things literally aqc... silly aqc he doesn’t understand how facts work. DARPA and UK innovate have given millions... so of course it works... everything governments give grants towards works??? Like the billions for track and trace, or billions for the nhs databases did...

North Korean Mick, you are so far down the Kromek rabbit hole, it’s quite funny. Finding myself on the same side as you makes me very worried.

Hi Aqc888,
I think the easiest way to see our very different way of thinking is Engineers/Designers we spent all our day working with facts, the strength of a bolt, the weight of a part, the power a motor can generate.
If you give a design problem to an engineer with the parameters and the time he will bever away and give you a prototype to test...we don't come at it with any negative thinking.....that might come latter when the bean counters (sorry Skid) and the software guys have put thier 2 peneth in.
I'm guessing respectfully your career has been involved somewhere where facts aren't very important.
Jumping up and down making incorrect statements about trails starting when they hadn't, demanding results when we were told the NHS were to be consulted and disparaging comments about Company managers and thier teams who have been working flat out for months to get results seems a bit off to me.
Especially when it appears you haven't done much of your own research..blindly relying on ST for your info..good as he is..but I can guarantee to you he hasn't asked any tricky questions about the Gene sequencing platform being used.

And there he goes again…

@dexter. “It’s ok to have that conviction in the fundamentals of a company, you have a tendency to wait it out longer than others who get frustrated and overthink lots of scenarios that they have no control of.
Time will tell....”

I’ve only been here since the IPO. Not long to go now, I hope. How much is time?

Haa I had to put Booboy on filter months ago. I thought he was having a nervous breakdown...it's not good to be so negative at such a young age

Watch out Boomboy, North Korean Mick will be putting you in a forced labour camp soon if there’s any more questioning about the wisdom of our dear leaders at Kromek!

Nah, just comes across as someone who has done his own research and has conviction and faith in, what on face of it, looks very investable. It's ok to have that conviction in the fundamentals of a company, you have a tendency to wait it out longer than others who get frustrated and overthink lots of scenarios that they have no control of.Time will tell....

ST is not a seer. When as i very much hope the field trials are a success the price will move up. I will be holding for a while yet.

I'd assumed it would be in the 16th July issue, good spot noticing that it isn't. I wonder how much readership it gets in comparison to the website. Should get some indication on Friday :)

Very annoyed I bought some at 17.2p last week expecting a strong rally following Simon Thompson’s extremely positive write up and ‘strong buy’. Still hasn’t hit the print edition, should come out Friday, might start getting more buys on Monday when people read the article and see the share price still hasn’t rocketed yet.

Is it safe to say that the placing at 15p was to raise capital to scale up production and pay for any associated licence cost?

Has anyone thought maybe it's not just KMK trialing these potentially market leading Covid detectors at schools/airports? Maybe THE GOVERNMENT are also trialing/watching closely to assess their effectiveness?! They could drop 100's of millions on these at drop of hat if they like what they see.

DARPA moving through the phases with Kromek product should give all investors a huge amount of confidence. Anyone who deals at that level with the US Dept of Defence clearly has a credible, functioning, reliable and relevant product.

Looks ready for rebound to me. Fall overdone, based on Arnab's positivity & comments from last week & future potential, not just covid related products of course.

2nd attempt..only on my mobile..fat finger!!

If it's been Rns'd I would believe it.
But only
a couple of weeks one jurno report said it had cost a million pounds to develop, which seemed unlikely today it's £14 million, I'm sure it's somewhere in between as the projects are ongoing and overlapping.

So a Jurno' miss Qoute would think about total contracts.

It is hard to keep up with all the US
, UK Innovation' and now recent Mod monies.

Someone's confident in Kromek's design and development abilities.
.
DARPA Phase 1 - £1.47 (2 million dollars). Start Dec 2018

DARPA extended £3.8 (up to 5.2 mil dollars) 27/5/20

DARPA Phase 2 - £4..3 ( 5.9 mil dollars) 14/06/21

UK inovate -. . £1.25 million program

Uk MoD - £349k

£1.47 + 3.8 + 4.3 +1.25 + 0.349 = £11.2 million

or 15.27million dollars @ today's ex

But I don't think you'll ever hear Kromek refer to the DARPA funded work as "grants".

The DARPA work coming with strict Contract criteria, milestones and targets to be meet. and all these overlap a bit.

14th June 2021 Vox site

'' $6m contract win for breakthrough biothreat detector''
'Today, pioneering radiation detection firm Kromek said that it had received a $6m follow-on order from DARPA. Covering Phase II of its development of a biological threat detector'

The latest MOD recent announced Just last week-

'In its new target area of biological-threat detection, Kromek has been awarded a £349,000 contract with the UK Ministry of Defence, through its Defence and Security Accelerator Open Call for Innovation programme, to develop its technology to meet defence and security requirements for wide-area monitoring of biological pathogens.'

The Northern Echo seems to be the place to go to read about Kromek! £14m to develop? Is that right? So Kromek have been using their own money, not just gov grants?
