For me there absolutely has to be something with a pathogen detector.

COVID has shown that so badly.

'Kromek was the only UK company supporting Exercise Patriot and one of just seven industry partners. Its world-renowned detector, the D3S ID, itself a key part of the Defense Threat Reduction Agency’s (DTRA) SIGMA system, was put to the test in a variety of scenarios. These included: a vehicle accident, where the vehicle was known to have medical radiological isotopes on board; another where the vehicle which was immobilized and suspected of nefarious activity; a third scenario involved a plane carrying suspected drug cartel members forced to land over US airspace. General nefarious activity was suspected, mostly of a biological/chemical nature.'

It just seems to me that the share price has been severely overvalued in the past considering where it has been (high .70s) and where it’s languishing now on such good prospects.

Just jumped from 15.71p to 15.90p to buy on last few minutes, so seems a bit of appetite for the shares has returned.

I so hope you are right, AQ. But, I do care whether the share price is up or down. It’s my money in there and the false MMs are playing around with it. A higher share price now would account for a higher jump on good news in my view.
Anyhow, unlike some I am still here and still hoping. GLA.

Arnab says the units have been tested extensively in labs and he sounds very positive to me as he's done for the last 4 or 5 presentations.so it's a fair bet to assume Good news will be forthcoming.

Who cares if the share price is a little up or down. When the results to the trial are out whatever ups or downs will be wiped out.
If the results are positive, as the CEO says, I expect the share price to reach at least 30p by the end of the month. (With a little help from ST.)
If the results are negative - Kromek just keep on ticking over - the medical, nuclear and security products will carry on selling. Share price will probably fall to 10-12p for a short while on the disappointment.
I have a feeling I’ll kick myself for not buying more.

Good shout, Rotors. Lots of thought and q&a to be addressed that will come out in the results.
Regarding sensitivity it’s probably not as sensitive as this share price seriously sad And frightening state of affairs this!

Share price is exactly mid way between recent highs and lows. The buys and sells of Kromek are all small amounts. Hopefully the results are released on Wednesday 14th and it’s a slow news day to get maximum media attention.. expect a follow up tip from Simon Thompson if the results are positive which will turbo boost the share price gains

Yes, that’s one thing that doesn’t need to be worried about. Final results of Kromek due at 9:30am on Wednesday 14th July. I guess this will be the announcement time?

It’s all becoming increasingly suspicious. I can’t help thinking that these results are now known and are not as good as we have been led to believe. Why would there be sellers at this stage in the game and the share price drop like this if all is as so good?

Got to sit tight and wait for the results. Hopefully they release them on a slow news day to get maximum attention. I reckon it will be another week or two wait. Just thinking - what happens if there is nobody with coronavirus in the hospital or school? Quite likely as rates are so low at the moment, would the trial just have to continue until they succeed in finding a case? Or do they send someone who is positive to go for a wander around? Surely you only know how successful it is if you know how many positive people are wandering around the building? Sure the scientists have it all covered but might effect how quickly the results are released?

There will presumably also be consumable and service revenues. No idea how much that might be worth, but potentially significant. It would be good if they could find a way of monetising the data stream too...

Well we'll just have to be patient I guess a little longer hopefully & it'll be worth the wait.
Short while ago, on checking prices, one can buy at 16.07p below the mid.

So part of the £13m recently raised went towards commercialisation of the biological pathogen detector. This in part was to a new production facility. I would think they can get more manufactured under license if needed. However according to the before mentioned analyst they would need to make 5000 a year to generate £25m of profit. (£20,000 sale price, 25% profit. £5,000 x 5000machines =£25m) That’s 96machines a week - which I would say isn’t too ambitious.

Dave, I think there are 2 prototypes by the sound of it that are being live trailed, we've heard about 2 Airports and a school now with NHS also to come
The units will have been fully bench/lab tested and put through thier paces before hand and they've said results will be released soon.
They're done really well to get those 2 units functioning so quickly it was only in Jan UK Innovation' funding was granted I believe.

So lots of news to look forward to .
