Cautious7:

I agree about Christmas (it was just earliest date I can see it happending)..

"Little Fires Everywhere" - AmazonPrimes block buster was March
"Little Big Lies" - Sky block buster (HBO made) was February

It will take time but I feel pretty much certain it will.
I'm a big buyer

Gerardp: This is how I see it..
ITV production teams busy producing "block buster" for Christmas market. Its only available on Britbox. Christmas 2020 EVERYONE opens a Britbox account to see the "blockbuster"...

Job done!

According to him 58.50p. But I'm a bit sceptical, he always posts buys at rock bottom. Nothing to get excited about, 10,000 shares.

He's a guy who wrote a book by the same name. He's Robbie Burns, and he's a private investor with a reasonably high profile. Followed by many private investors.

Level 2 is looking strong for a tick up.
I've just noticed the NAKED TRADER has just filled his boots in ITV.
He must have a lot of confidence in the company, especially at these prices.

I believe realistically ITV should be valued at 1/10th of Netflix or £20B or ten times its current price but Britbox will need to keep on growing - and I believe it well..
The UK can support at least ONE home grown internet TV company.

I'm not a great believer in stuff like support lines ... but the business assets are worth more than current capitalisation, so whilst it could certainly plunge further, you have a reasonable margin of safety.

New investor after watching for a little while. 60p looks like a reasonable support line

LOL - you have to look long term as an investor and a DAY TRADER...
(seriously - even if a trade is for an hour I like to have the big picture in my head too).

grahamite2:
1. The younger generation is getting smaller and smaller and watches less and less TV
2. These internet TV companies need to appeal to the 40+ market.
3. The UK TV industry is ideally suited for older audience (GLOBALLY) - costume drama, crime, and the odd reality show (love island) PLUS UK stars:

4. Theoretically I can see a day when BRITBOX is BIGGER than netflix... eg ITV bigger than netflix.

...the younger generation ... don't rate Brit Box

No kidding!

It remains a great product for the ITV3/Alibi etc audience and will take off as soon as it can be received on most TVs. I'd be very confident that the 600,000 figure has been greatly improved since Britbox was added to TalkTalk.

It seems like MM and FCA are sailing in the same boat of Corruption and ITV management is completely powerless and incompetent.
