13/8/2020 19:12 | Or some overseas take over bid. The price is attractive. Pound is also quite weak; especially to the US Dollar. | peddlers
13/8/2020 18:56 | Another 10 million buy UT after the bell. | jacko07
13/8/2020 18:44 | I think the key is improved results and/or light at the end of the tunnel regarding the virus. | alex1621
13/8/2020 18:03 | Hi all. I bought in to ITV late this afternoon. Clearly ITV is oversold which creates a perfect buying opportunity. I'm looking to hold for the medium term. Target £1.20 Ped. | peddlers
13/8/2020 17:25 | alexno idea, but as usual market throws baby out with the bath waterlloyds/centrica | stansmith3
13/8/2020 16:19 | BT aren't cheap, TalkTalk are a better investment. | delboy45
13/8/2020 16:12 | Netcurtains, I'm also a holder of BT, I've thought for a while that BT & SKY would make a good marriage. ITV are very cheap, but so are a lot of other companies including BT. | nige co
13/8/2020 16:11 | Yes. What happened to ITV's prospects today that led to a 5% plus fall? | alex1621
13/8/2020 16:02 | Nige Co: I think you have to look at the situation in conjunction with BT. These shares go up and down together. Is it possible that BT and ITV might merge creating a "mini-SKY"? | netcurtains
13/8/2020 15:59 | Seems to be a lot of buying on the IG platform- but that might not be a good sign. As this swings up and down it's hard to know who is really calling the shots on the movement. | scooper72
13/8/2020 15:55 | I don't see things changing while GS have a strong hold on the share price, controlling 21% of the shares, to manipulate how they see fit. The ITV share price is currently down 5.45% on no bad news isn't right. yet the BOD are powerless to stop these actions. It never used to be like this years ago. It's now a corrupt market. | nige co
13/8/2020 15:13 | I am a fair minded Caucasian male, live and let live has always been my mantra. Have worked and played with folk from diverse ethnic backgrounds and generally found most if not quite all to be decent folk. But this diversity issue is beginning to annoy me principally in terms of BBC TV presenters and ITV adverts. Black and Asian folk make up 18% of uk population, try counting numbers on TV. Makes me think it's we Caucasians that are now in the minority. Time for a letter to the DG and ITV methinks. | dalep716
13/8/2020 13:44 | Gecko..don't send me private messages, they are deleted in split seconds. The thought of you leaves a stench in my inbox! | goldfinger16
13/8/2020 13:42 | Sticky Fingers should do the decent thing and take some of those migrants in if he fills so blooody sorry for them. bookbroker..that is the pat answer from someone so ignorant, he makes a first time post on the ITV thread. So you believe that futile Iraq war has nothing to do with millions dead and millions of refugees. If the boot was on the foot and you were a refugee, you would do diddly squat to get a better life. Go figure! | goldfinger16
13/8/2020 13:40 | It could go anywhere ... up or down. The question for me is where I think it is going once we are through Covid and Brexit negotiations? I'm waiting for the up cycle ... like waiting for Godot. | alex1621
13/8/2020 13:35 | Goldfinger has a point, if Bush hadn't have been so keen to show Uncle Sam was boss of the world, I doubt very much if there would ever have been a war. That war created more problems including refugees. The loss of life has been millions, then we got more terrorism and ISIS, Syria, Libya, you name it. | corby3
13/8/2020 13:13 | I'm wondering whether will we see 60p again in the medium term. And certainly would be surprised to low 50s again. | scooper72
13/8/2020 13:11 | Come on guys. Let's just stick to helping each other work out where the ITV price is going next. Can't imagine it will drop more than 4 percent in a day. | scooper72 |
