26/6/2024 11:06 | Keyno Yeah up early doors these days whilst the sun rises early!!! Don't want to waste summer :) | geckotheglorious
26/6/2024 11:01 | Agree, jonny. Rugby Union is so frustrating to watch, it never gets into any rhythm before there's yet another penalty. As for cricket - LOL!! Hitting a ball with a stick over 5 days. Mind numbingly boring! | thebutler
26/6/2024 10:25 | Rugby Union is nearly as boring as cricket. Penalties and scrums, hardly any action. spud | jonnybig
26/6/2024 09:31 | Sorry GthG but rugger is far more tedious to watch than football. An ugly, boring affair. I don't mind football generally but the game as played in these Euros is simply not entertaining. I agree with your 1966 comment though. You're up early! | keyno
26/6/2024 09:21 | . "There are approx 5.5 million UK epats in the world. I reckon at least half of them use a VPN to watch UK TV. It won't be long before a chunk of those sign up for ad free ITVX boosting revenue." Most of them live in europe. All they need is a satellite dish and a freesat tuner. | spob
26/6/2024 08:03 | big volume yesterday as huck said | hardupfedup
26/6/2024 06:22 | Seconded Keyno. Rugger at the weekend, England vs Japan in early hours. Next weekend All Blacks. And then there's the IC T20 cricket, semi finals are here. Why anyone watches the tedious footie beggars belief. It aint coming home. 1966 was a one off. | geckotheglorious
25/6/2024 21:10 | Or not watch the football at all. My preferred option ....... | keyno
25/6/2024 18:43 | spacedust: You said: "B Is too funny. Just to watch a boring euro game" So basically best option ring/zoom friend or relative to download programs and put on the cloud (or can do it before go on holiday)..... | netcurtains
25/6/2024 17:34 | Big jump in volume reported. From 7m to 29m in the last minutes. 2 x 11.4m at 82.05p @ 13:19. And - a little early to call it - third day with buybacks paused. | huckers
25/6/2024 15:37 | There are approx 5.5 million UK epats in the world. I reckon at least half of them use a VPN to watch UK TV. It won't be long before a chunk of those sign up for ad free ITVX boosting revenue. | welshbob48
25/6/2024 15:25 | Sport is boring. Very repetitive. Then there's grown men watched by thousands of folk who go mental when they hit a bag of wind into a net. Think about it. It's bonkers! spud | jonnybig
25/6/2024 14:14 | bed wetting next day targets never cease to amuse | stansmith1
25/6/2024 14:11 | B Is too funny. Just to watch a boring euro game | spacedust
25/6/2024 14:03 | options. a) you can set timer to download your programs in the UK and put in the cloud so can watch anywhere... Perhaps semi-stream them that way too (eg put in dropbox etc). b) Video camera a UK tv set (LOL) - but it can work OK...ish c) Vpn as others have said (but a bit pot luck). | netcurtains
25/6/2024 13:42 | Greenhat67 Post 8086 "I recently tried to get ITVX & BBC iPlayer when in USA and neither would let me . I am told it’s possible with a VPN but I didn’t bother"" Touch and go using a VPN to access Itvx and BBCiplayer. ITVx easier I believe. Have to use a UK VPN Server - BBC iplayer always rejected most of these too. Itvx a bit more forgiving. | geckotheglorious
25/6/2024 12:31 | Yip RR at close to 500p. Amazing it was 57p. 10bag in a few yrs. Not even aim companies can do that these days | spacedust
25/6/2024 12:01 | It certainly was a very positive JPM note insatiable demand for ITV's airtime was one of the comments mentioned to me and nice upgrade in earnings forecasts, even better if England progress further....! | chrisdgb
25/6/2024 10:53 | The marketing and investor relations teams at ITV are abysmal. Their phones are probably all ex-directory. tlobs..You're right, it's not good. A recent post on LSE about ITV doing much better than expected purported to come from someone employed at ITV marketing. If that turns out to be the case next month, why can't they tell the market now. Other companies issue up to date statements all the time. The new guy at RR Tufan Erginbilgic informs shareholders almost weekly about the fortunes of RR. Having said that RR is a rocket and hard to believe was around 80p the same as ITV in March 2022 when McCall had her Liz Truss moment. RR today 450p, ITV still down at a lowly 81p, the share price performance like the investor relations team is abysmal. | robwt
25/6/2024 09:52 | Usual pullback for noreason. Will be over 85p tomorrow. | spacedust
25/6/2024 09:47 | Netflix works well in a recent trip abroad. Iplayer didn’t as well as Disney plus | smurfy2001
25/6/2024 08:22 | robwt......... "Pity we don't hear more from the management." The marketing and investor relations teams at ITV are abysmal. Their phones are probably all ex-directory. They spend more money on diversity and inclusion than marketing. | tlobs2
25/6/2024 08:11 | I recently tried to get ITVX & BBC iPlayer when in USA and neither would let me . I am told it’s possible with a VPN but I didn’t bother. | greenhat67
25/6/2024 06:37 | I fail to see what benefit large European viewing figues on ITVX clould have to ITV. They would be illegal users as ITVX isn't sold outside the UK. (And I imagine could'd be) | welshbob48 |
