10/2/2024 08:33 | Really? Your really asking if IQE can take its market cap from £230 million to 115 billion... | hutchmeister
10/2/2024 07:51 | ???????? ???????????? | jav88
10/2/2024 07:40 | Has Iqe the potential to reach the same market cap as Arm in the long run? Or the two companies are too dissimilar to even make the argument? | alotto
09/2/2024 18:52 | Nasdaq and Sox making hay again today, surely they must have a breather soon, they have been on an absolute bull run lately. Monday should see further support for semi stocks in the UK. | longtallsally
09/2/2024 16:30 | Just had confirmation from IQE that the figures for Canaccord are right. So they did sell 8.5m share after reaching 14%. @Tomduck no reason to sell here I think the market is hopeful of good news soon. Hence why so many funds building here. Up to 9m shares traded today. Over 700 trades. Biggest I could find was 400k. | guildedge
09/2/2024 16:29 | Agreed Crosswires. i’m not planning on selling IQE until £1 is hit, as you say if they managed those numbers I am sure the share price will be over my £1 exit point. | tomduck
09/2/2024 16:10 | Not sure about any of those shares amt (noted last month that Bango shares fell in half and ST tipped SEE but their track record on small companies is bad!) but I wish you luck with IQE obviously -and am very confident that you should be in profit here this year. However I would suggest that If IQE can conjure up 300m revenue and £70m profit by 2027 the share price will be far in advance of 70p…PE of 10 in this sector (even in UK) is far too low, 20-30 would be more relevant. If it managed such substantial growth and record revs/profit then IQE would be garnering substantial eyeballs in the investment community as a turnaround and momentum investors would surely be invested. I think the potential is certainly well over £1 IF it can do those numbers, which is the BIG IF. Let’s see, if it even gets close to those numbers the next 3 years could be a fun ride | crosswires
09/2/2024 15:47 | If they can triple turnover to around 300m at 30% GM then then they should make a profit of about 70 million by 2027 The share price could then be about 80p on a pe of 10. That's good going but far better risk reward ratios elsewhere on AIM with the likes of Bango and even perhaps SCE and SEE but not so sure about the last two. Nevertheless I averaged down recently and only need 30p to get back to profit, still hope by the sounds of things. | amt
09/2/2024 14:14 | Yes 13% nvda in this etf | amishp67
09/2/2024 14:04 | That’s why I recommend the UK SMGB USA semi ETF, which has also been motoring but gives you broad USA semi exposure. | crosswires
09/2/2024 14:02 | I've taken a position. I think we're midway through this A.I bull market. NVDA will probably pass $1000, maybe $2000 (yes we're kicking ourselves), and obviously it's starting to look expensive so we're seeing a trickle down to ARM and anything else. My target ultimately is the old high taken out and then some. Now I can boldly proclaim, "I'm integrating A.I" Good luck all. | powereddrones
09/2/2024 09:46 | Nice to see a little bit of momentum, getting to 25p and then looking to take out 30p level would be nice and show a solid reversal of the trend however there is no rush. It’s a long game… | crosswires
09/2/2024 07:28 | Lumentum -23/24% last night...... | scrawny dawny
08/2/2024 23:12 | I have asked IQE the question about Canaccord as why not do an RNS if they sold 8.5m shares? | guildedge

FT Suggests previously 27.74m as of Feb 2022) hxxps://www.iqep.com It's odd as the Canaccord figure suggests they have sold 8.5m shares since 24/01/2024. Last update suggested they were over 14% on 22/01/2024. This seems a mistake as why would they sell any at these prices? Unless like Citigroup they bought shares to sell on as Invesco wanted out? The old figures were Invesco 152,425,639 15.85 Lombard Odier Investment Managers 141,593,743 14.73 T Rowe Price Global Investments 93,927,465 9.77 Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management 85,007,125 8.84 Hargreaves Lansdown, stockbrokers 60,782,047 6.32 Dr Andrew Nelson* 46,266,881 4.81 Interactive Investor 46,118,540 4.80 | guildedge
08/2/2024 22:39 | If you have a spare half hour and want to broaden/fry your mind... this is a fascinating video detailing the science behind LEDs and photonics. It covers a lot of the science IQE are dealing with. Also touches on micro-leds too, the likes of which porotech and IQE are working at the end. https://youtu.be/AF8 | andeeeee
08/2/2024 21:48 | …and the Semi ETF too :) | crosswires
08/2/2024 21:45 | ARM Holdings up 47% today, bodes well for IQE tomorrow :-) | julian1000
08/2/2024 18:59 | Absolutely, eggs not all in one basket, I invested in the Semi ETF, SMGB, up 100% over past 18 months ✅ | crosswires
08/2/2024 18:45 | Do investors speak with the sales force? If IQE's own website isn't pronouncing what the company is doing in AI, then what does its other marketing materials and channels state, and how are their sales team being briefed? It is poor! Don't expect any miracles from a sales force that may not even really know how to best sell IQE's products in to the booming AI supply chain. I truly hope for the best. But IQE has historically "got it wrong" and think we're better of spreading bets to invest in other companies that seem better at "getting it right". That said, I think the likes of Nvidia are due a correction | megsta
08/2/2024 18:21 | Agreed Sally, these days websites for companies like IQE are dressing at best, still relevant but not that important, more of a box to tick. Theyak, up to 24p is just the recent churn that the share price makes, i’ll be more willing to believe we have left 19/20p behind once we get to 30p+ or at least decently past 25p | crosswires
08/2/2024 18:16 | Well Americo told us his beliefs with his 3x predictions and clearly the market didn’t listen or didn’t believe him .. Perhaps they’re about to have second thoughts 🤞 | theyak
08/2/2024 18:15 | I don’t think a website these days is going to make even the slightest difference to big sales, that will be down to the sales force, and having key people in the loop with the companies in this space, which has thankfully been addressed by Americo in the past year. I very much doubt the companies that will make a material difference to IQE’s revenue and share price start their quest by looking at supplier websites… | longtallsally
08/2/2024 17:49 | Unlike ARM in the past, IQE never benefited from the mobile smartphone boom. Unlike Nvidia, Intel and now ARM again today, IQE has yet to benefit from the AI boom. IQE's management and products are not recognised by the market. IQE has repeatedly "gone wrong". The IQE website doesn't even mention AI on its homepage. Yes, IQE's products are in the supply chain that enables AI technologies. If they want to ride the bandwagon here they need to improve their marketing. | megsta |
