And iqe is pre eminent in infra red detectors with its night vision stuff it produces for US military. I'm sure this is an area that could be added to watches for mass market adoption in fat countries where diabetes is a big problem

I will be surprised if we dont hit atleast 86p today. Ams up 7.5 % We have now gone past Edison price would be happy to see Deutsche bank 83p price mark.

Back on 15/11 when share price was around 57p I said:
"I don't have the assets (cash and balls of steel) to top up at these low prices"
Well done to those who had the assets and increased their holding.
Also, there must shorters who took positions around the time of the tu that are getting seriously worried. :-))))

Daily volumes at half the historical average. Suggests to me that stock is hard to come by given the accompanying share price rise we are witnessing. Perhaps the remaining PIs are holding firm and focussing on the long term story.

It is interesting to speculate on who the buyers are.

It is significant that shorters have not reduced recently, which would be the obvious first thought. That leads to two alternatives, either large institutional buyers, buying for the longer term prospects or stake building ahead of a bid.

We are likely to see shorts going below 6% very soon. With the current surge in share price I strongly believe that more institutions will pool in and we will get highlighted very soon for 5G and more on Vcsels and Lets not forget wireless. Oppenheimer will be the key if something major comes up.

Want it down? No expect 120 ish and would hope for higher, 140 re-issue price also an expected platform. I used plain English. We have enough doomsters without adding where inverse is true. ;-)
Over the pond market may see another bump up upon opening.
